Is this Denver’s greatest coffee shop? I’m house sitting in the area and popped in for a coffee because I always want to support local business. First, the atmosphere is welcoming and has such a warm vibe. Chairs were filed with people engaging over a hot beverage – so good to see! This is clearly a place where people feel welcome to sit and relax. Now, my coffee? Holy new levels of awesome! I wasn’t expecting greatness but that’s what I received. It’s clear that House of J’s knows how to brew the perfect cup. It was so good that I returned later the same day for another. Even though I live way across town, I will be coming back again and again for this wonderful coffee shop!

I discovered House of J’s Coffee shortly after moving into the neighborhood, and it quickly became a favorite. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, the coffee is consistently great, and the staff is always friendly and kind. I especially love their support of local artists and creatives; it truly feels like a community space, not just a coffee shop. So grateful to have this gem in the neighborhood.

One small biz to another, I love coming in for coffee and some work time! You all are the kindest and most engaging staff. The coffee selections are so original and good tasting – never had a bad one! The only suggestion is adding a glare-stopping barrier on your massive window (sheer curtain, glass film, etc) so my eyes aren’t hurting by the end of my stay with you.

We came here wanting to try something new..it seemed like they had someone training on the register on a Saturday morning when it was pretty busy, so naturally it takes a little longer which is normally fine but she was by herself and had to pull others away from what they were doing to ask questions about how to ring things in. Another girl helping make drinks kept playing with her hair while she was steaming milk and preparing drinks. Service did not make you feel welcome. No greeting at all just “what can I get for you?” We asked if one of the drinks was really sweet and were met with “I don’t know, I haven’t had it.” ….overall not the best experience. Hoping it was just an off day, but not sure. We would have stayed to drink our coffee but were very off put by everything so we just left. Coffee is fine, nothing out of this world though

Always fresh and delicious coffee, friendly service and the burritos are such a great perk for a filling breakfast or lunch on the go. We love to take our kiddos there for one on one time with great seating and fun board games.

Had a chai latte and it was really good. Tasted my sister’s latte with oat milk, cinnamon syrup, and caramel syrup with the roast Dead of Reckoning and it was really good. Their cheese danish was amazing. The almond danish was okay. It was a very relaxed stress free retro atmosphere. The bathrooms were very clean. The lady who served us was also very nice. There were people working on their laptops, a great place to get work done. Or to hang out with friends Highly recommend!

I cannot brag on this place more. Entering this shop and being welcomed by the friendly staff feels like I’ve stepped into the home of a dear friend. This has quickly become a favorite spot to meet friends and share life over delicious coffee and tea. Their knowledge of craft coffee and high level of care for their product is evident in every cup. Do yourself a favor and come check out your new favorite coffee shop. Pictured is my fall favorite, the “Autumn Fog”. Is it Fall yet ?
