Never had a bad meal here! Samosas are excellent, chicken vindaloo is so spicy but so tastey you cant stop eating it! Naan is fresh and perfect! Mango Lassi is best I have had anywhere! Owner waited on us. All smiles and checked on us frequently. This was a sunday at 1pm, most recently.

First time eating here and very new to Indian food. It. Was. Amazing. The food was hot and fresh, the prices were reasonable, and the flavor was phenomenal! Perfect meal for a cold January day! My kids loved it too! We will definitely be back and will probably make this a regular thing! Thank you House of India for sharing your beautiful culture and delicious food!

Take away only. Food was prepared on time. Lamb Korma was tasteless. The garlic Nan and papadum were stale and inedible. There were no sauces provided. Worst Indian meal I have ever had. Was trying local instead of going to Willow st in Manchester. Don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews. 2 tries, both big disappointments.

I heard about this restaurant from a friend who is a fanatic for Indian cuisine! He highly recommended them and although I am not a super adventurous or spicy eater, I ordered lunch from them for the first time today and was NOT disappointed! The flavors were perfectly balanced, the portions were generous and the price was super affordable! I was hesitant because I am new to Indian food but the staff was super friendly and accommodating to any of my concerns. I will definitely be back soon and recommend this restaurant to anyone in New Hampshire- it is worth the trip!

I had been craving Indian food all day, and House of India did not disappoint. The chicken korma is delicious and the garlic naan is *chef’s kiss* incredible. The owner was also very kind, I will 100% be back!

Among the worst ever restaurants I have visited. Went for dine-in but only take-out was available. Ordered Chicken and Shrimp biryani. Owner looked super rude. We were too tired and hungry so just picked our food and left. On tasting the food, turned out to be, shrimps were literally raw and chicken biryani just had boiled rice with chicken, turmeric and salt. We had to throw the food in trash and drive out at 11 PM to get some food.

Later, checked the review and turned out to be that many people have left 1 star reviews and had similar experience with the owner.

We order takeout frequently from House of India. I typically call in our order and it’s always ready when we arrive. We drive from Belmont to pick up our food here, and it is well worth the drive. Everything is always very fresh and flavored nicely. You can get things spicy if you’d like, but mild is truly mild enough for sensitive tastebuds. The folks in here are always very friendly when we pick up our food as well.

We order from this restaurant often and have yet to be disappointed. Their sauces are full of flavor. Garlic naan is great too. Other reviews mention that the service was poor, and while the owner isn’t the most ecstatic person in the world, I had a nice conversation with them.

Based on my experience, and considering the reviews, I honestly believe that the people who are down-voting this restaurant are doing so in an effort to sabotage this establishment and its owners. I tried House of India for the first time tonight and I thought the food was delicious. Everything was well spiced and very flavourful. I worked for 3 years at a highly regarded Indian restaurant in Rhode Island, so I think it’s fair to say I know a thing or two about Indian cuisine, and the food I enjoyed tonight was well deserving of my 4 star rating. I would say their naan left a fair to be desired, but it was still satisfactory. Overall, the food was quite good and I will certainly return to House of India very soon.

I’m not really sure why they have been getting a few bad reviews. Makes me think someone is trying to make the restaurant look bad. I went last night with my husband and holyyy, I’m glad I did! The food was so bomb. The portions were perfect. I think the owner is the one who served us. He was a little quiet/kept to himself at first, but opened up shortly after. He was super friendly and gave us great service. I would eat here everyday if I wasn’t from out of town. Easy 5 stars. Don’t let the lower rating reviews fool you.
