Such a delightful and delicious option after an afternoon at the lake. The location has a lot of history and memorabilia to look at.
The entire staff is friendly and fantastic. We watched Andrew whip up “Pig’s Dinner” and other shakes and sundaes. We tried everything from sandwiches and salads to onion rings and chili dogs. I had the nutty turkey salad. It came with lettuce, tomatoes, hard, boiled egg, and pecans on top. I had it with the honey mustard dressing. It was fabulous. Our server Natalie was beyond wonderful handling our group that took over the counter area. It is pretty popular so there can be a way to be prepared, but you can always get ice cream to go.

House of flavors is a must visit every time we are in Ludington! Lots of flavors obviously and you can get a sample before you choose. Ice cream is made right there so its very fresh, the waffles cones are too! Tennessee toffee, mint chip, and cookie dough are a few favs! Make this a stop next time you’re in town, you’ll keep coming back like we have for 15 years now!
Service is always good and even when they’re busy with a long line out the door it moves fairly quickly.

Did not try the food, but the ICE CREAM, which is manufactured here and shipped private label around the country, is the best I ever had. The Michigan Pot Hole Filler in a waffle cone for $7.00 for one scoop was by far and away the best chunk ice cream I ever tasted. $7.00? They fill the waffle cone with ice cream and then add the one very large scoop. Fantastic!

This was sooo good we got the monte christo, grilled cheese, and Great Lakes chicken wrap and chicken and waffles! The chefs are truly super hero’s bake there! From the food, decor and music we were rushed back to the 1950s I felt like the “Fonz” was going to change the jukebox any minute!

Went in for lunch. Loved the atmosphere and service but the food was very meh. I’m 99% certain it was just frozen food heated up. Got the chicken and waffles, tenders literally tasted like frozen tenders from Kroger and we think we figured out the waffles are those ones you get from sam’s club. Could be wrong but that was our feeling. Even my kids figured it out.
Picked up ice cream later in the day and it didn’t wow me, seemed very basic with crazy flavors added, wasn’t our cup of tea.
Overall I can’t say I don’t recommend it as it’s still nice and considering it was packed, people love it…but we won’t be back. As the star rating says “it was ok”.

my husband and I went for ice cream, they have a TON of flavors, they let you have samples, the ice cream is really good 8/10, they give you huge scoops but that’s good because a double scoop is 7$, giving 4 stars because it was a bit chaotic inside, however we made it before the big crowds hit!

This is a must – have when visiting Ludington.
Yes, the line is always long, but definitely worth the wait. The servers are fast and friendly, and the ice cream is amazing. Try the Amaretto Cherry or Michigan Pothole.

I haven’t had HOF since I was a kid, but my all time favorite was Red Pop & I was devastated and still am to this day they discontinued it! I thought I got lucky and they carried it here in Ludington but no go. Best ice cream hands down regardless, but would love the nostalgia to come back into my life! Glad they still carry bubble gum.
