Ramen had udon noodles. Ramen also didn’t have a description. Requested meat, noodles, spice only. Was full of veggies. Absolutely no care for requests. Sesame chicken was bland, chewy, terrible. Food was not great. Will never come back.

First time trying this place and we won’t be back. The worst beef and broccoli I’ve ever had by a long stretch. The flavor was ok, but the pieces of beef were soggy, the pieces of beef were very small, and there was very little beef in the dish. I ate some of it but it was very disappointing. Most of the pieces of beef in the dish weren’t that much larger than that seen in the picture. We also got some orange chicken. It was ok, but again, like the beef, the pieces were very small and didn’t taste very fresh. The noodles and rice was good.

I always get the pork buns they are so good! The Chicken Chow Mein and Orange Chicken was really great too! He makes everything right after it’s ordered too so it was fresh. The owner/cook was really nice.

We love coming to House of Dumplings and getting the dim sum and they are so very good! The guy who owns it is so sweet! Definitely come and visit and try it out! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Edit: responding to the business owner because I can’t respond to your response. I’ve had this dish many times at other restaurants. It’s a delicious dish with a unique flavor. In my opinion your oil was rancid. Maybe you missed the part where I said the spring rolls were also cooked in rancid oil. stating my opinion is not libel. You have many other 1 star reviews. You could have offered to make this right, but instead you threatened me. Self awareness is so important. Maybe rather than threatening your MANY 1star reviewers you should take the criticism and improve your customer service and food. Thank you for proving the point that I shouldn’t have sought a refund.
Honestly I try not to leave bad reviews, but I don’t want anybody else to make my mistake. I’m so very disappointed that I had to waste an entire meal. Everything was cooked in old, rancid oil. I could smell how foul the oil was before I even opened the containers.
The spring rolls were quite burned and I still would’ve powered through them. However, they also smelled/tasted of rancid oil and were not edible. I’m pretty picky, so I wanted a second opinion and I asked my eat-everything boyfriend (with an iron stomach) to taste it and verify that I wasn’t overreacting. He was baffled by how bad all of it was. Thirty bucks straight in the trash. Then the oil made the trash smell so bad that we had to take out the trash.
After reading the reviews left by others I will not be seeking a refund because I can tolerate the loss more than I could tolerate being harassed by a bad business owner.

Came here when I visited my sister at the university, place looked closed from the outside but tried the door and was able to get in. Was welcomed by the stale smell of mold and just general rankness, called out to see if anyone was at the establishment as it was quiet inside, after a few moments what I can imagine is the proprietor showed up. Decided to take a chance on the place and placed a take out order. Turns out that was a mistake on my part.
The order for two items ended up taking 40 minutes of waiting, proprietor said there was three door dash orders ahead of us and seems just having customers come in spurred him to action from his laziness. Numerous other customers came in and upon either smelling the place or waiting to be attended to had come and gone. Ended up requesting and getting a partial refund after being fed up of waiting.
Owner also said that he was giving us discounts from the original price as he was doing the refund, possibly to keep more of the money for himself, who knows, just a great business model to have and Im just glad to be out of there. Would not recommend thats for sure.

The smell is rancid, rotten, and unsanitary! The moment we stepped in and saw all the clutter and stacked electronics, and filth, I had to walk out to make sure we were at a place for food. 2 guys in there waiting for take out told us to hold our breath due to the stench. Our food wasn’t ready, 25 min after the max time given to be ready, with zero explanation. I was ready to leave it, due to the absolutely vile smelling restaurant. We drove to eat in the mountains, but smelled the food, which smelled like the filth of the restaurant, and tossed everything into a stream off 32

I ordered through DoorDash and the dasher was chilling at home rather than picking up the order which had been ready for some time. They stayed open later so that the dasher could pick up the order, and called me apologizing about the experience. The food is amazing and I highly recommend the dim sum. They also have mooncakes!! Highly recommend, they’ll take care of you.

This place has really good soup dumplings, even with takeout delay they were tasty! The picture showed 8 dumplings per serving, but I only got 6, FYI. We also ordered beef chow mein and it was solidly good, and it was a large portion for lunch, could be shared or saved for leftovers. Staff was friendly, there was easy parking and online ordering, just watch out it still says “Windy’s” on the building outside (inside there’s the House of Dumplings sign.) Next time I’ll try the pork buns and other dumplings.
