Always love any place that offers vegan food. Food was delicious, friendly service, and the atmosphere felt homey. I felt comfortable there and will definitely return.

I ordered the fully loaded pasta bowl and it was AMAZING! It was well seasoned, tasteful, and overall a great, unique dish. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again. Great vegan food is a difficult reach and this place is truly valuable!

The sweet potatoe pieeeeeee has me in a choke hold! So bad they know me everytime eye come in there lmao. The jiboni loaded pasta, chokeholdddddd! So freaking gooddd! If you want vegan food with GREAT service and CONSISTENCY!!! CONSISTENCY is the key word, because there are vegan food places eye go to and one day the food is bussin, next day the chef must have just started, another day its too salty, next day the food burnt lmao. Every, single, time eye went here the food was always perfectly seasoned! This is major for a food business ! You will not regret spending your money here at all! Actually on my way there right now lmaoo. Love Asé

This gem has been in Norfolk for 37 years. It has so much history and is a community staple. They have a free library (books must stay onsite), board games, and a stage. It would be an awesome space to host a book signing, open mic, or paint party.

I really wanted to love this food. Sinclair is SO delightful and engaging. It is phenomenal that they have created a safe space for creativity, fellowship and intellectual stimulation. But unfortunately the food fell short of my expectations. Granted I’ve never tried Jikoni Kush before, but [for me] it was undercooked. It had a very chewy/rough texture. My Beast Burrito was lacking in the veggies I requested and the Jabini sauce [it was SO DRY ] was nonexistent. What I mainly had was a Burrito full of Jikoni. I will admit it was a Beast… but just lacking in the other ingredients.

We love Jikoni Cafe! They serve some amazing vegan food options. It’s healthy, delicious, and soulful. I love their kush pockets…the African bourbon sauce is my fave. We also love the rasta pocket. The serving of nachos is large and tasty. And the shakes are delicious. You can’t go wrong with any item on their menu. After you order your food, you can play a game of chess or shop for items, books, or art work. Definitely check them out and support.

I’m not vegan. However, if I were this would definitely be one of frequently visited establishments. I had the burrito and it was delicious. I’d go back if in the area.

This place is such a vibe. The food, people, and environment is crazy on point. Now, the location of where this place is through me off, but every since I was introduced to it, it is “over the bridge, and through the tunnel to house of consciousness I go” in my little Red Riding Hood voice.

I was in VA Beach for the first time to visit my husbands Alma Mater. He is vegan and I am not, but I always love trying new foods. We visited at the end of November & I’m still thinking about how amazing the food was. That is what has lead me here to write a review. I wish these flavors could be brought to Charlotte but it is 100% worth the drive. I asked the very nice man at the counter what he recommends & he said the beast burrito, so that is what I got. It was a beast All right. So flavorful and filling, the sauces were amazing, the texture, EVERYTHING. My husband has been a few times and is in love with the pasta. It was so delicious!! They give huge portions and is worth every penny. We appreciate whoever is the mastermind in the kitchen. We also enjoyed the shop in the front with all of the enlightening books and crystals. My husband is Hebrew and they had tons of books in there that aligned with all of the things he teaches me. We read while we were waiting on our food. Thank you so much for the great experience and wonderful food. We will be back for sure.
