The first time I had it I ordered from the restaurant and bought it home to eat and it was amazing!
Tonight I ordered the same thing through Doordash and instructions weren’t followed and customer service was horrible. I cannot eat dairy so I ordered a chicken steak with no cheese, mayo, fried onions, hot & sweet peppers and ketchup. My sandwich arrived with extra cheese, I called and spoke with a woman.
She called me back after securing a delivery person to send me a new sandwich, before hanging up I went over my sandwich instructions again to make sure there were no mistakes the second time. She refused to include sweet peppers to my sandwich because they were $1 more. I couldn’t get my sandwich the way I originally ordered it because of $1 after they already made a mistake and I still had to wait longer for them to remake it and redeliver it.
What type of customer service is that? Not to mention she hung up on me when I asked why she couldn’t accommodate the $1 peppers after making the mistake on my original order.
Needless to say they will not be getting my business again. I also complained and got a refund via doordash.

On Oct 5, I placed an ordered that included a cold turkey sandwich with all the fixings according to the menu. I also requested to have olives added to my sandwich, which I paid extra. When I arrived to my destination I had a hot turkey sandwich with only meat and pepper. When I called the establishment to tell them about the error, I was told by 2 employees that I needed to say I wanted all the fixings on my sandwich. I explained that the sandwich is advertised a specific way, which is how I wanted it prepared and to add extra items and it was nonsense to request for the fixings to be placed on the sandwich. I requested a refund for my sandwich as the other items I ordered was delicious. I spoke to a manager, who agreed the error should not have happened and that she would refund the monies for my sandwich as I do not live near to have the sandwich remade. Today is Oct 21 and I still have not received a refund. I called the store and was told I would receive a call back. I’ll be contacting my bank to reverse the charge.

This cheesesteak place is amazing! The food is fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly every time. The cheesesteaks are packed with meat, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. What really makes this place special, though, is the lady who works there—she is incredibly kind, welcoming, and makes you feel appreciated as a customer. Her positive attitude and great service truly elevate the experience. You can tell care and love go into both the food and the service. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

Love this place! It’s a family-owned gem that offers amazing food at unbeatable prices. In a time when everything feels overpriced, this spot keeps things affordable without sacrificing quality.

The portions? Super generous. The flavors? On point. Highly recommend the chicken wrap and their pizzas—both are absolutely delicious!

They also offer delivery, which is a huge plus! If you’re looking for great food, great value, and a place that actually appreciates its customers, this is it. I highly recommend them and fully support this business!

If you miss Jerry’s, then House of Cheesesteaks won’t disappoint! Cheesesteak and fries (wedges) are on point. Wedges were perfectly crispy, fresh, and hot. They have tables to dine-in, but their vibe is mainly for takeout. The soda fountains weren’t working during my visit, so only bottled drinks were available. Will return again to see if the dine-in experience improves, but tasty food and good service will overcome those shortcomings.

I visited this restaurant two days in a row after seeing the menu online. The first day I ordered a cheesesteak and tangy bbq wings. The sub was delicious but had little steak on it. They need to do better with the portion size of meat if they want to be a great cheesesteak house. The wings were just okay but nothing to brag about. On the second day I tried the medium double pepperoni pizza which was amazing. This is a great location for pizza. I will certainly return here for the pizza as it is worth the visit. I saw a picture of the pizza online and it looked very flavorful. I hoped the picture was authentic and after getting my pizza, I confirmed it was. The pizza looked just as flavorful as I saw online and it also tasted as great as I hoped!

They’re supposed to be open until 1. Hardly ever open that late. It’s 12:14. Wanted some wedges and a chicken steak. Sign on door said go through drive thru, went through drive thru he said they’re closed. This is not the first or second time. Maybe y’all need to change your hours. This is not a good look.

We used to live in the area and fell in love with House of Cheesesteak. Now that we’ve moved away, it’s become a must-stop whenever we’re even remotely close to Clinton, MD. We’ve literally driven all the way to Philly in search of a great cheesesteak before … but once we found House of Cheesesteak, we realized there’s no need to go that far anymore. Honestly, their subs are even better than what we had in Philly!

The bread is always fresh, the meat is perfectly seasoned and tender, the portions are generous, and everything is made with real care. The flavors are out of this world. You can tell they take pride in what they serve, and it shows in every bite.

We recommend this place 1000% …… if you’re anywhere near the DMV, do yourself a favor and make the trip. House of Cheesesteak is THAT good.
