It’s a average place. I didn’t exactly love or hate. It’s good. I suppose portion was disappointing but I guess it was tastier then expected. Not homemade tortillas it same package tortillas. I like homemade tortillas. I suppose I hoped for more homemade stuff. I liked the beans they give you with chips honestly out of all chips and dips that they serve in spots I been to these were great . I need to come back to try other thing. You can say I wasn’t to happy bout my tacos idk I wanted like lettuce Pico sour cream etc on the flautas these lacked it it was on a plastic cup. They should really change that it’s literally on sour cream and dry cheese on it . I got consumed tini little cup it was thick but yea jst average spot.

This Birria Tacos here are the best I’ve ever had – absolutely delicious! Likewise, the guac was freshly made and completely wonderful.
I will absolutely be a regular customer here. Beyond the tacos – which again, were perfection in every bite – two have *lots* of other enticing options on the menu. Friendly service was a bonus. Highly recommend!

I no longer have to look at the menu because the bartender Ellie always surprises me and each drink is delicious. Makes sites that you’re happy and always has good conversation. Absolutely the best! Owners are super awesome as well!

I don’t trust Mexican food in NY. But this place was a surprise! It’s like a solid SoCal type place. The combo with cheese and consommé was the star. Steak and pork are better than chicken. Their guacamole was excellent!

I Had an amazing experience at the house of Birria restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was great with some fantastic music setting the tone. The customer service was top-notch—super friendly and attentive. The food was incredible, especially the green sauce, which was absolutely delicious! My margarita was perfectly made, too. I also loved the atmosphere, it was lively but comfortable. And the best part? There was plenty of parking right out front, which made everything even easier. Especially on a cold day. I Highly recommend! I even brought back left overs and my son enjoyed it even warmed up.

Your staff’s politeness, clarity, and respectful demeanor were impressive. Even though I ordered takeout, they graciously allowed me to dine in and provided excellent service.
The food was truly outstanding. Both the Quesabirria Tacos and the Consommé were fresh, high-quality, and scored a 9/10. I initially planned to eat only a couple of tacos, but they were so delicious and satisfying that I ate all five. I felt great afterward and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of my drive and evening.

Their Queso Birria tacos and Consummé are insanely good. After you try them once, you will crave them constantly.
They are able to leave out cilantro for all of us who have “the soap gene”.
NO BIRRIA LOCALLY TASTES LIKE THIS!
I have tried so many places and nothing can compare to the flavors that are produced from this restaurant.
My kids love their burritos too! They’re a decent portion and an instant winner. The flavors are divine.

So this was my first time visiting this place and I can say that I’ll be going back! The environment is pretty relaxed. They have good ambient music playing where you can have a conversation and enjoy the music. The staff is very friendly and offered good recommendations on the food. The drinks are quite interesting, they look good and taste great! The appetizers were, for me, a slam dunk! The guac is quite delicious, perhaps one of the best around along with the other items like the queso fundido with chorizo! So these guys are apparently like California Mexican style, which I hadn’t had before. They absolutely blew me away with the birra burger, which is just insanely filling and packed with incredible flavor! Overall, this place is a must try!

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and we sat at the bar. The bartender, Michaela, welcomed us immediately and was very friendly and extremely helpful as it was our first visit. I am a wine drinker, but they do not serve wine, so she took the time to understand my tastes and made me a lovely sangria. We ordered two Quesabirria Tacos and the Consome–very delicious and not like any tacos we’ve had before. It was so good, we decided to order the Que Locura Torta to go. She gave us a cup for the leftover consome and recommended we use it with the Torta. My husband and I were able to get two dinners for two out of the one Torta (granted we are light eaters). It was equally delicious. We really liked the vibe in the bar as well. We will definitely be back again and hope to have Michaela as our bartender–the world needs more folks like her in the service industry.
