Stopped in here the other day for a breakfast burrito while I was working nearby and it was delicious. I did want to know the ingredients in the tortilla but they could not tell me. I do not like to eat anything made with “enriched” (IE sprayed with chemicals) or bleached flour. However it was delicious! The coffee was okay, could have been a little hotter. Service was great and he made it just the way I wanted. There is municipal parking right around the corner.25 for 20 minutes.

Everyone at house kitchen is so friendly! I picked up beef and chicken empanadas for a little work celebration and they were a huge hit they were so good!! Everyone wanted to know where they were from. I can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu!

Might be the best tasting food in pleasantville. They always have a serve yourself breakfast station and later a lunch station. On top of that their menu is fantastic. Best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. The husband and wife owner are extremely kind!

A friend and I met for early breakfast at the House Kitchen for the first time. The food and service was excellent. I had a breakfast burrito with ham and my friend had the ‘hangry’ sandwich. We also got some fried cheese and plantains from the self-service buffet section (pay by weight). The burrito and the Hangry Sandwich were both very large and tasty. We were both quite full. The service (family owned) was very good; the staff was very pleasant and kind, explaining various menu items to us. The place is small with a few table but very pleasantly decorated. We would definitely recommend it for breakfast or lunch.

Came here for a quick lunch with my husband and daughter. My husband got the Cuban sandwich he started it was delicious! I got comfort food from the buffet. Rosie was very friendly and out going. Will be returning.

It was a quick stop for lunch. I had a combination of foods from the buffet, plus a breakfast burrito to go for my daughter. Food was delicious, homemade taste. My daughter said burrito was soooo good too. I’ll stop by again if I’m in the area.

Best chicken empanadas ever! This is not something I say lightly as they are my favorite food and I have had many in my day. They are so juicy and flavorful 10/10, I am never disappointed and I’m going to miss them when I go back home after graduation. The folks there are so friendly and the place is always clean.
