I found this little place quite pleasant. The California rolls were arranged with the utmost respect and gorgeous presentation. The cashew chicken was delicious, and the green tea is piping hot; you may have to let that cool down. I’d highly recommend Hot Woks to anyone looking for good Asian food.

Thai modern Microchain in Chicago. This particular location is creatively settled next to the raging Kennedy Expressway. No way this property works with most small businesses but these kids made it happen campy cozy and cool. Super great food , very reasonable prices. Expansive menu, servers always pleasant. This has been our go to for many years. I know that they recently transitioned to new management and I’m not sure if it was a fluke but our takeout yesterday was not the quality that we’re used to. The sushi was just ok and the Pad Thai was flavorless. I couldn’t even finish it. It just tasted off. I truly hope that the new owners work to keep up what made this chain so special to begin with.

So rare to find a restaurant these days that’s delicious, friendly, satisfying, and reasonably priced (by 2025 standards ). We were looking for a restaurant halfway between Grandma and us, and were lucky to find them. Best sushi and teriyaki I’ve had in a long time! Will definitely be back.

This place was a frequent fav prior to COVID. They had my fav salad, the Salmon salad! I’ve noticed that a few locations have shut down and the menu changed. The appetizers were great. My husband enjoyed the Basil Fried Rice. I chose the Harajuku roll, which was tuna & yellowtail roll. It wasn’t as tasty as I would’ve imagined. It wasn’t spicy at all. This establishment is BYOB, which led to the 4-star rating.

We had the Thai and it was delicious. Service is quick and exceptional. Beware when ordering Pad, though. Our “mild” was way too spicy because they don’t know to cook mild without jalapeños (!). Also, they come with both chicken & shrimp, but if you subtract one to replace with the other, they charge the full additional charge despite savings on the protein removed. The owners should eat at Thai restaurants to learn how it’s done.

Pretty good. The food was very good and the portions large enough. They have parking on the side but it is very limited. There is Street parking for $. The prices are decent and the service is good. The only issue was a mistake on the ordered food, that was quickly corrected.
