We were looking for a place to get Wasabi and GPS took us here. From the looks of it we weren’t too sure if we wanted to eat here. We looked up the reviews and it looked promising. We were Soooo HAPPY we decided to eat here. We ate out on the picnic tables in front. The Food was absolutely the best I’ve EVER had! I will be making a 40 min drive back when we want hibachi again! Chicken was not funny textured like some places steak was on point and not fatty nor gristle and the shrimp was just as good. The fried rice and egg rolls were amazing. We tried all the sauces and loved them all. My mouth is watering typing this,YESS it’s THAT GOOD! GO.HERE.
AND THE PRICES ARE GREAT!

Dec 2022 update – first time we’ve been back since my original review. I had steak and my fiance had chicken with noodles. Portion sizes are still good. But there was a definite decrease in meat since the last time we ordered. There was also very little sauce on my steak. The steak was also tough like it was a bottom of a barrel cut.

Amazing service though, in town for a work project that only allows a 30m lunch, called ahead for a pickup at a specific time. They texted me when it was ready! So awesome!

Okay so, my boyfriend and I have always been very hesitant to order from here just bc everyone knows the “big” hibachi places in the area and wasting money on food that’s gross sucks so you just stick with what you know well today we pulled the trigger and ordered from here. this was the best hibachi either of us have had, the chicken had actual flavor and not just the flavor of the sauce on top, the noodles had flavor, and the rice also had flavor. It was steaming hot by the time we made it back home which is about a 15 mins drive. also, if you’re weird with chicken like I am you have nothing to worry about here, there was not a single piece of chicken that grossed me out usually I’m sorting through and giving my boyfriend the “funky” pieces but I did not have to do that. All in all just order from here. I never ever leave reviews but I felt like I needed to this time.

I wasn’t impressed overall. I order the shrimp and chicken, it was flavorless in my opinion and I tasted the steak it was a little tough. And what they’re charging I could go to an actual sit down restaurant and get better quality food. But I REALLY did like the egg roll I’d stop back for them! My coworker who suggested we try this place says this was the first time their meal wasn’t good so maybe I’ll try it again in the future.

The past two times I’ve gotten food from here the amount of meat was much less than usual. I used to be able to get 2 or 3 meals out of my order and now it’s just one which is very disappointing. Their food is delicious but I’m not sure if I will continue to order here if the portions are smaller for the same price.

It’s all carry out. There is some outdoor seating, but sitting that near Whipple while eating isn’t for everyone.
Nonetheless, the food was beautifully presented in the carry-out containers.
Everything was delicious.
It’s clear that these fellas are pursuing their passion. I’m glad they’re doing it.
Will come back for more.

The wife & I have eaten here many times over the years and it was always excellent, but last week we decided to have it again since it had been a while since we ate there, she had the chicken and I had the chicken & shrimp with a side of noodles. Both of our main chicken dishes were so over cooked the chicken & shrimp were super dried out and I ended up throwing over 1/2 of mine away, the side of noodles were also so overcooked they were to the point they were all stuck together in a blob. Also we had chicken egg rolls and they were so done they were dark brown, I’ve never seen an egg roll that color before. One thing I know for sure is it wasn’t the owner cooking because I’ve never had a bad meal when he’s cooking, but who ever it was either needs some lessons on cooking or fired as they’re going to cost you some business if the dried out food isn’t fixed, people will not pay for that! From now on I’ll come to the place and see who is cooking before I’ll order anything, no more phone orders for me as you don’t know what you’ll get.

Visited the first time 1/6 on Sunday afternoon. Extremely friendly staff! Service was excellent. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. The the whole family loved the food! I would definitely recommend Hot Wasabi to anyone who likes Japanese/Hibachi style food. Very good portions and good prices. We will definitely return regularly and I’m happy that there is a place like this so close to home! Can’t say enough about how good this place is and I would rate over 5 stars if possible!
