Just had an amazing hotpot experience and had to shout it out! The food was fresh, flavorful, and the broth options were perfect for everyone at the table. But what really made the night was Amy — hands down the best server we’ve had. She was attentive, friendly, super patient with questions, and kept everything running smoothly without us ever needing to ask.
If you’re going, definitely hope you get Amy’s section. She made a great meal even better. Can’t wait to come back!

Hot pot seems good here but we got the seafood boil. The seafood itself was good quality and succulent. However, I got the Cajun seasoning and it really was just garlic butter without any seasoning or spice to it. Should just stick with hot pot. Atmosphere is nice and clean.

my best friend brought me here for my first hot pot. she’s a regular and raves about this place. it was incredible. the spicy broth was numbing and delicious. beware of how much you order at once because our eyes were way bigger than our stomachs.
there are so many options that you can be vegan and still have too many things to choose from! 10/5 stars if i could.

Hotpot Hero in Gaithersburg MD is such a fun spot for a cozy meal. The ingredients are fresh, the broth options have great flavor, and the portions are definitely worth the price. I really liked how quick the staff was in getting everything to the table and making sure we had what we needed. The place can get a little busy during peak hours, but the overall experience is still really enjoyable. If you are craving comforting hotpot with lots of choices, this place is definitely worth checking out!

This isn’t the type of food I typically gravitate toward, but after my first visit a month ago, I’ve been coming back almost once a week. The food is great, and I love being able to try new things and explore a cuisine I’m not used to. The atmosphere is excellent, and the service is top-shelf.

I’ve been to many hot pot all around the DMV and this is by far the best one. Soup is great, food selection is the best and customer service is top quality. All of the staff members are genuinely nice, especially Amy. We live far away but Amy’s wonderful customer service brings us back everytime.

Throughout the meal, Amy consistently checked in with us refilled our drinks and ensured our table had everything we needed. She was especially patient and accommodating when we had a few questions and special requests, handling everything with a positive attitude.
She has a very personable approach and we have little jokes ham and forth, like small banter about whether my wifes gonna buy the meal this time or not. She always makes the plsce that much more enjoyable.

Always have very fresh meats but for some reason we did get 1 plate that seemed to have freezer burn.
This is still my favorite hot pot place and I’m not even a fan of hot pot.
They have authentic soups.
Furthermore as aCantonese person I find it refreshing to hear Cantonese songs on their playlist. They also have a handful of Cantonese workers who can communicate with my parents well.
