Hot Mess Burgers features burgers/fries/onion rings/veggie burgers/deep fried chicken/grilled cheese & fried bologna sandwiches along with featured burgers, salads & an OMG served on 2 warm glazed donuts! You can Hot Mess your burgers by adding caramelized onions/ham/topped with an egg! We are a Hamburger Stand not Fast Food. Every item is cooked to order. We sometimes have lines & we apologize in advance. Our burgers are messy & we strive to give the best service possible. We are so grateful to all of you. PS-we apologize for no bathroom facilities but we are governed by the State of NC & the Health Dept. We are considered an outdoor food stand! We do have an outside wash your hands station. Come here often, food is always good. Left good review before, unfortunately last time we were here cashier messed up order, it happens, guy taking order seemed to be new. When I went up to address it was told they won’t do anything and received attitude about fixing it. Hopefully just a bad day but left a bad taste over a single patty burger mistake on their end.

Adorable little spot that was really busy on a Wednesday night. The secret is out evidently! The atmosphere is fun and happy with peppy music and smiley servers. The burgers looked delicious and generous, but I got a chicken sandwich instead which was so yum. My friend got fries and a burger and I took a burger home for my son. I’ll be back sometime soon! This would be a really fun spot in the spring to enjoy eating outside on the picnic tables. I thought the price made it a good value also.

This place is a hidden gem! While driving down 601 we discovered this place and decided to stop in and see what they had to offer! We ended up with a single burger and the fries and they were both delicious. The fries had an exceptional crunch and they were hot!! The customer service was great.. if I didn’t like the food I would have still provided a high rating simply because of the customer service.. it goes a long way when you’re spending your hard earned money!!
