The food is good.
Just keep an eye on the sauce they add. It was a little too much sweet habanero sauce.

Outside that it was good. Everyone enjoyed their food. That’s a rarity.

You can customize your burrito or bowl.
Dad has a limited diet and he was able to make a bowl.

Service was good. The last taking the order was helpful and courteous.

If you patronize often you can download their app.

Wow just wow… from the moment you walk in you are filled with good energy and hospitality. Was my first time here and they made sure it was a memorable one. Food was amazing surprised more people aren’t dining here.

I love Hot Head, it is bounds better than Chipotle, however, the last few times I’ve gone, the rice has been semi hard, not sure if over or under cooked… half crunchy rice is an instant turn off for me. I think ill be forgoing the rice options from now on.

I wasn’t going to leave a written review, but Hot Heads seems to want a written review, so here goes:

1) The “Mexican rice” is always rock hard the way you’d expect to find at a C rated taqueria in a Westlake, Los Angeles alleyway.

2) The staff was much to timid and anxious to be working in a customer service environment – you can’t prepare food while your mommy is holding your hand the whole time. This should have been noticed during the interview process, so this reflects poorly on the management.

3) Most egregious: I asked for a burrito, and when the crew member ripped it, instead of simply rerolling it, they asked if I wanted a bowl instead (plain lazy), then when I insisted on the burrito I’d ordered, they double wrapped it and tried to charge me for an extra tortilla. Sorry you’re terrible at your job, but I’m not paying for your mistakes.

4) Simply to be mean spirited, I’d rather go to a wallow than dine in, because at least at a wallow, you’d expect to see a snout ring (*oink-oink*).

(Next time, think twice before insisting on a written review when the other option is silence.)

I had a burrito half steak, half barbacoa, brown rice, black beans, etc …it was pretty good and very filling. I’ve never walked away from here hungry after ordering one item. Prices are reasonable for what you’re getting and the sauces are pretty decent. I usually have lime and Cholula and if you’re unsure some staff members can usually throw you some tips about the sauces. The restaurant itself isn’t anything special but it doesn’t need to be. They’re not selling you an all encompassing dining experience. They’re selling good food at a decent price and quick service.

I used to go in with no issues or problems but for the past few months I have gone in the young female employee ignores me and or intentionally does my order incorrectly. I went in today at 4:21pm to get my friend his order and she watched me stand in line after I let someone in front of me because my friend wasn’t ready and then refused to take my order but instead sent another employee who then almost half portioned everything then asked for a fountain drink but was given a bottled drink.

Went in to Hot Head for the first time in several weeks and was pleased to see the addition of the new veggies!!! Had extremely great service from a newer worker (Elizabeth) and couldn’t have asked for a better Valentine’s Day meal. Thank you Hot Head!!

This has become one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. You can build your own burrito. I put so much toppings on mine it takes a skilled person to role it up. Over the last year I’ve only had 1 person tear my burrito. Good service and employees. When I eat there next I’ll take a picture. Update I took my nephew to eat here over the weekend and we both made a huge burrito! The young lady working with ease rolled both up. No sweat! I love this place!
