So, to start with, this place does have pictures of various types of burritos, but the gist I got while ordering is that they are just examples because I literally got to ‘choose my own adventure’ for both the taco and the burrito I had made. There was plenty to choose from to place inside of each and I got the same options to place inside each. I changed a couple of small things between the two, but they mostly contained the same things while still providing a different taste. There were a couple or three special additives available as well for a little extra, such as the guacamole. I didn’t include any extras that would raise my total, but to ‘me’ everything looked completely fresh when I went in about 5 minutes after they opened at 10:30am. I think where folks can really get different flavors though is with the sauces.
So, at around 10:30am, I figure I was the first person in since the place was empty. However, after I had gone through my ordering and near the end of the choices, were the sauces. My own eyes saw maybe about 20 choices, including a ghost pepper sauce option. I did that one on my burrito and tried the jalapeno sauce on my taco. This place does have hard shelled tacos available by the way, but I did soft for mine. Between the two sauces I got though, I was surprised to find the jalapeno sauce actually came out hotter! It could have been due to less than what’s inside a burrito in volume, but I will say the ghost pepper sauce was a first ever at any restaurant that atleast truly provided SOME heat. Neither sauce was overpowering though and even a pepper liking child could likely have either. The lady serving me on the day I went in also placed the sauce on kinda heavy to ‘me’, but it was perfect! Both items came out having enough of a different taste for me and I had to save half the burrito for the next day.
As far as the cleanliness and all of the place, I found it to be kosher. The staff was nice as well, although I felt a bit rushed being asked what items I wanted on my two orders. However, that’s likely because I was trying to juggle my phone with a friend who couldn’t seem to hear me say ‘hold on a moment’ and getting my order. ; p Really, the only thing I could truly think might need a slight change is the boxes used for the tacos. After just a couple of minutes in the car, my taco had stuck to multiple places on the little box it was in. I had to be careful picking it up.
As a couple of side note, this place does do a special for Taco Tuesdays… and also my total order of my two items came to 10.18 on a Tuesday…
