We first tried The Station BBQ last year at one of the local wineries. We finally drove out to try them again while looking for food for our daughter’s wedding. The service was great the portions were decent and delicious. The brisket fell apart and had a good flavor. The tri-tip was good with a nice bark but a little heavy on salt on some spots. The meat was a little zippy as well as the brisket beans. We were caught off guard with the Hawaiian Mac salad which was really good. Overall, good taste n great service. Was it $28 a platter worth? Maybe not, but it was good. I would recommend a couple slices of white bread and a pickle and some pickled onions to bring it together.

One of if not the best BBQ place in the area. The briskets were smoked to perfection. I had ordered the brisket over loaded fries, the brisket in burrito, and in a grill cheese. They don’t skimp on the portion sizes. Please look at the pictures posted. The burrito was loaded with a whole spicy sausage, Mac & cheese, rice, and beans. The grill cheese was stuff with the brisket and Mac & cheese. The loaded fries was so covered with brisket, Mac & cheese, and beans it took a few bites before we could get into the fries. Estevan who runs this place is really personable and welcoming. I will be back as often as possible and I would encourage others to come and be a regular also.

I live in Texas and this BBQ is fantastic!
The two meat plate and my wife’s one meat plate was a lot of food, so we took it home and finished it in two additional meals.
The owner is pretty cool and let us sample a few other things on the menu. Ribs and tri-tip were really good.
It’s a small place next to a gas station, but if you like Texas BBQ, I recommend it.

It’s tied in with the liquor store and gas station. They will take EBT for hot food (they aren’t supposed to do that). Some people have gotten food poisoning. You get what you pay for. It also EXTREMELY HOT inside.

Staff was really friendly and welcoming. Even though they’re located inside a Gas Station you don’t get that vibe as it feels you’re inside a meat market or small to go restaurant. The food was amazing and worth every penny, very generous servings and very tasteful. We got the 3 meats meal (1 tri tip and 2 brisket) and two beef ribs.

Ordered the 3 plate with pulled pork, tri-tip and the brisket. The tri-tip and brisket had great smoke flavors and was super juicy, the pulled pork was juicy and had great flavor as well. The sides were the mashed potatoes and the Mac and cheese, the mashed potatoes were super buttery and creamy and the Mac and cheese had great texture on the noodles and a ton of cheese I picked the spicy bbq sauce, it needs more of a kick and a big serving of the sauce to cover the massive amount of.meat you get in this plate, that’s my only complaint.

Tri Tip sandwich was great. Bark: on point. Smoke Ring: present. BBQ Sauce: sweetness. Amount of Tri Tip: worth your money. Service: excellent. Overall: this is what real BBQ should taste like.

It’s delicious BBQ. We got the beef rib with two sides (mac and cheese and chili beans) and the brisket grilled cheese sandwich with fries to share. Delicious and incredibly filling. It’s located in the Valero so it doesn’t look like much, but dang really good bbq and great service.
