Some of the most authentic beers to the individual styles but I’ve had outside of their given regions. The staff was incredibly helpful and gracious, letting a friend and I connect later than they are typically open. The bar is such a fun and cozy place! There’s food, but I didn’t get any.

This is our favorite microbrewery in Columbus. The staff are great, the beer is amazing and the snacks are the best! If you haven’t been here you are missing out!

My husband, baby and I stopped in while on the Columbus ale trail. We got the red ale and English IPA! Both were delicious! We also loved the free popcorn and table-top games. We would highly recommend!

WOW! I am so excited by this place! First visit was Friday, Nov 28th, 2025. Beers true to style and fantastic. Tried several including Doppelbock and Vienna Lager. Atmosphere was also great. Cigar friendly outside. Most excited for the Roggenbier coming out! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Was so happy with the amazing beer selection that I joined their mug club. Prices were extremely fair. They are a bit off the beaten path, inside what seems to be a industry center near the airport. Follow your GPS and when you think it’s crazy, you find it! A must go for beer lovers! Lots of Belgium and German selections.

I visited Hoster Brewing with a couple of friends this afternoon. We arrived when the brewery opened. The brewery is situated in an industrial complex and parking is available. The interior has a unique look. There are booths, tables and the bar. Our bartender Ian was very friendly and provided great service.
I started off with a flight, which included 4 5-oz. tasters. The brewery had around 12 available beers, so it was tough to choose. Among the 4 beers I ordered in my flight, the Gold Top (Dortmunder) was my favorite. All of the beers I tried had good flavor and were easy to drink. The brewery has a limited food menu. I chose to get a cheese pizza. The pizza was piping hot from the oven. It tasted pretty good. I also ordered a full sized Irish Red.
Hoster Brewing offers some of the best beers in the Columbus area. I will certainly return to try more. I highly recommend this place for craft beer enthusiasts.

Wow. We stopped in to kill some time. OMG the beer was delicious and the service was perfect. They have snacks and free popcorn. I had Hoster beer in the late 90s and was excited to find this hidden gem. Do not let the industrial/commercial exterior fool you, this space offers a dramatic entrance into an intimate German bier bar.

Beer is fantastic. Authentic German brews, excellent. While the beer is fantastic, staff is even better. Prices are such a good deal. Pub-style ambiance with complimentary snacks and other food for purchase. Among dozens of very good breweries in the Columbus area, this is one of our very favorites.

Feel like I was transported to a far away pub as soon as I entered. Friendly staff, clean location, and games and a cat to keep my kids happily entertained. The beer was good along with the massive soft pretzel and free popcorn. This is a hidden gem which we hope to return to soon.

Hoster is a hidden gem in the industrial park area near the John Glenn Columbus Airport. While the outside is pretty inconspicuous, the inside is cozy and welcoming. Great beer with a unique history. Although this iteration of the brewery is relatively new, the Hoster name has had a stake in Ohio brewing since 1836. Highly recommend!
