I absolutely love this place! I just moved here from Oregon and was nervous about trying new sushi spots! Oh man was I not disappointed!! The sushi is so fresh and delicious. I wish I could give this place more stars! The atmosphere was awesome and our waitress Star was super amazing! We loved her! It’s very family feeling. I highly recommend this place! Everything is great! I definitely say the Sweet Heart roll is a must! The Spicy tuna roll was out of this world. It wasn’t just a basic plain roll like most places! This is my new favorite place in Sarasota.

Did not know the area but was craving fresh sushi. After several google searches I landed on Hoshi Sushi. Customer service was excellent! The waitress walked us through the menu and gave great recommendations. Sushi was so fresh and amazing! Highly recommend trying the sweet heart roll and dynamite roll. I will definitely be going back.

Wish i could give six stars! Everyone working in the restaurant loved playing with our three year old. They taught him some mandarin. Showed how they made shushi and their son played with ours! Could not recommend this place enough! Also the sushi was very good and fresh!!!

Simply a gem at Gulf Gate Village! Food is amazing and fresh, the staff is very friendly and very nice to talk with. We felt like royal family at table. Uni, Unagi, Miso and even a house salad was so goooood! We have become regulars.

If you are looking to find good sushi in gulf gate / Sarasota, this is the place to be! The service here is amazing. Everyone is super friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you get everything you need and then some! Oh and by the way the food is off the charts! Looking forward to quickly becoming a regular!

Came in at night for quick sushi & the experience was good. Star was very kind & helpful entire time. Sushi tasted yummy & I would order here again. The sushi maker seems introverted which I don’t mind. He was nice & made good sushi.
