Absolutely amazing food! we ordered the chop house sirloin (rare) and the gambler burger. My steak was perfectly cooked and my boyfriend loved his burger! Kaitlyn was our server and she was top notch, on point! Very friendly and did an amazing job. And the cook is a gem, (make sure to hang on to that one Horizons!!) We are Very impressed! We are from out of town but will definitely be back when we come through again!

This was our first time trying this restaurant and I have mixed feelings. When we walked in, the two hostess made eye contact with us but lagged asking how many was in our party.
Our server(s), one in training, were polite but they had no customer service skills. From the time we ordered drinks to getting the check, we probably saw them three times. Meanwhile, the male serve checked on all four of his tables multiple times asking for refills, explaining the menu, etc. – on top of him mentioning that he’s also a bartender. We weren’t notified of the happy hour, wasn’t asked if this was our first time – none of that. But again, they were polite.
The food was pretty mid for the price, in my personal opinion. The bread was probably the best part of my meal! Whoever made the drinks is heavy handed and I’m not here to complain about that.!
-Royal Street Shrimp and succotash: The hot shrimp were at the bottom of the dish but decently seasoned. Too many lima beans in the succotash and the peppers were in chucks!
-Specialty grouper filet*: Fried nicely but the slaw was… DRY!
-Salted caramel cheesecake: DELICIOUS!
*Caesar salad had multiple wilted pieces and the dressing weirdly tasted like fish.
I wouldn’t return but I’m happy I crossed this off my list of places to try.

Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the atmosphere and the people make this place truly special! Everyone is so kind and welcoming — especially Jess and Hannah who always go above and beyond. The owners, Carrie and Mike, are absolutely wonderful. You seriously can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! From the Sunset Shrimp appetizer to the burgers, sandwiches, and tacos, everything is so good. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! It’s hands-down my favorite restaurant!

First time at Horizons Bar and Grille and I enjoyed myself! I ordered Jimmy’s Lamb Chop and it was tender and the meat was very lean. The broccoli and mashed potatoes were also very good. The service was quick and prompt. Very satisfied!

Great local neighborhood spot in Bannerman Crossings. Their food is consistently good, as is the service and the drinks. Love sitting outside in the fall or spring, the bar is a great spot too for a quick dinner/ drinks. If you like brussels sprouts, they are a must try here! Plenty of tv’s for sports watching, they have good assortment of tables and booths as well.

Enjoyed a great meal here. The service was great. The food was real good as well. The steak was ok it was a little tough and not quite as flavorful as I would like but everything else met my expectations. The burger was juicy and fresh. The tuna appetizer was delicious and the star of the meal was the brussel sprouts. Overall the service was good. The server was attentive and made us feel at home. The atmosphere was ok, but I think it was a little confused. It looks and seems like it would be a casual/nice dining but then they have tvs like a sports bar. But is is definitely a step up from a sports bar. Overall had a good experience and would come back again.

My mother with late dementia asked to go out to eat for the first time in years when her sister visited last month. It was prime time on a Friday night. I called Horizons, explained the situation. The manager kindly saved a table for our little reunion outside where it was quiet and not overwhelming for her. The food was great. Our sweet server was patient and wonderful. So thankful to all who made that night special.

We had the PBLT with balsamic glazed Brussel sprouts. Have to say they both were something to write home about. The sourdough bread was perfect. Also had the Mac and Cheese bites as an appetizer. They were good.
Not impressed with the wait staff which is the reason for 4stars. We had to request another waitress to find our waiter when we were ready for the bill. This restaurant I paid with cash. He wanted to know if I needed change. Fair question but would have been a 47% tip so I said yes I needed change. He then asked how much change did we want. At that point we asked for exact change back and we were still shorted 50 cents. We did tip appropriately for the service but will usually go above and beyond for good service.
