October 2022: Stopped in for happy hour on Halloween. Our waitress was really nice and some of the waitresses wore costumes which was cute. The food was great! I had the smoked rib tips and the BBQ sauce had such good flavor. The ribs were cooked perfect and had a little gristle for flavor. Clam chowder was nice and hot, and French onion soup was good too. We ordered the tots extra crispy and they were a little greasy but so crispy! I ordered the cider beer and it was okay, but all in all excellent dining experience. Definitely recommend

I had the reuben and it was absolutely amazing.
The fish and chips were great. My daughter had the burger for 2 and it lived up to its name.

I’ve been here several times and it’s nice they are open late. Service is usually quite slow waiting to get seated, but once at a table the servers have been friendly. Tonight our food arrived very fast after ordering. Fried zucchini were ok – the veggies were cooked well but the batter was saturated with oil. Potato chip nachos are usually good, but the chips as a side by themselves are not that great plain. The steakhouse burger was just ok, disappointing compared to how it sounded in the menu. Overall tonight’s meal left my stomach feeling queasy from all the grease. I do recommend the buffalo chicken sandwich, which I think is the best item on the whole menu. Bottomless flavored lemonade is also good, but try to drink a lot of refills to get your $5 worth!

Life with Monte
The area that this establishment is in is overloaded with other stores that focus on hamburgers. BUT, fortunately not only does Hops n Drops at Queensgate sell THE BEST burger I’ve had in years, it sells other food choices as well. Makayla was SO helpful and answered my myriad of questions and shared that the owner loves people and helps employees develop. I love an owner like that. So the burger I chose was a burger with cream cheese/jalepeno with bacon on Texas Toast topped with a roasted jalepeno and tots on the side. It was juicy and flavorful and just the right amount of grilled onions and condiments. Seriously filled with flavor. I took half home because it’s plentiful for the money. This is a place I will return to more than once again. I rate this 9 out of 10 for overall atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Get you some!!!

First time in to the restaurant and my spouse and I had a great experience . We were seated promptly . Server can shortly after . We got the shrimp po-boy and the fish tacos. The po-boy said it was spicy but it really wasn’t , just a little kick . Poboy had plenty of shrimp . Husband liked his tacos with the chips and salsa.

Went to happy hour with a friend. Their happy hour menu is great! Good pricing and variety. Plenty of seating. Servers are attentive and friendly. We ordered their version of a lemon drop in an ice glass. I actually prefer an actual glass so the 2nd lemon drop I asked for a glass. They gave us tall glasses which were 3x’s the amount. I appreciate the generous amount but would’ve preferred an actual martini glass. Over all a pretty nice place for happy hour

We grabbed lunch at Hops n Drops at Ventnor Square. Parking was cramped. The establishment is in a small strip mall. The dining room was full but not overly filled. Service took three tries to bring a simple burger and tots with dipping sauce. Although the wait person was super nice and eventually arrived. The quality of food is okay.
