A cozy little bar with good food, drink, and service. We were pleasantly surprised by the selection and quality of the food. I can’t say I’ve been to too many bars that serve crab-filled grilled cheese! I will say, I think the cheese and tomato soup overpower the crab taste a little, but it was still well prepared and hit the spot. The drinks were great as well. I wasn’t expecting much more than beer (of which they have a large selection of), but they also have some good signature mixed drinks on their menu.

I have to say wow, this place is awesome. I came here a few nights ago and I was blown away! Phenomenal food, awesome bar staff, and we were there on trivia night, which was very fun. I have to say the chicken tenders that I received were not at all what I was expecting. They were incredible, perfectly cooked, very moist, very flavorful, and huge! The mozzarella sticks and the wings were banging, and the fries were perfectly crispy. 10/10 all the way around! I will keep coming back and keep bringing people!

We ambushed Nancy L Stahl and had an absolute blast at Hops and Barleys Middletown. The lobster rolls and old bay fries were ridiculously good. Caprese salad with shrimp was basically the best thing since sliced bread. We met Steve and his staff and they were ridiculously nice. You should check this place out if you want some amazing grub and fun company.

I ordered a ham and cheddar cheese pretzel melt. The cheese was not melted, the sandwich as whole was lukewarm. There was a person training, who cannot pour beer. Its usually a great place, good food, and excellent service, today however was not the case. Very disappointing

I don’t give 5 stars too freely, but this place….I can see why they were packed. Free trivia, fantastic food….I had the steak and cake (Worth the price) never had anything like it. The drink I had was delicious and strong my friend and I plan to come back soon! THANKS for the wonderful experience

Great spot to grab a beer and a bite to eat. Staff is attentive and friendly. Had the meat lovers grilled cheese. Highly recommend or the “ma the meat loaf”… didn’t have but love the reference.

Definitely start with the crab appetizer, the pretzels alone are good enough without the crab on them. The crab was equality delicious as the tacos. I can’t wait for our next visit. They seemed to be short stagged the time we were there. The bartender was taking car of the whole place. Luckily we weren’t in a rush and she was still on top of it.

This place was awesome! The atmosphere around the bar was great, the staff were super friendly and talked with you as if they’ve known you forever. The food and beer selection was even better. If you have a chance to swing by, definitely do it.
