This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered the taco sampler and the porkopolis. I had three types of tacos, brisket, pork, and chicken. All three were very good but the pork was my favorite. Great flavor and texture. It came with two sides, mac n Cheese and baked beans. The max n Cheese was very good and the beans even better. The porkooolis is a pretzel dough Flatbread that also truly impressed me. And the young lady, Madeleine, who took my order and checked me out was also outstanding. Great personality and very helpful. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 9.1.

I hadn’t really been to any restaurants in the Storrs area until going to Hops 44, and my expectations were exceeded! It was clear to see why they were recognized as having the second best wings in the state, and the elote dip, bacon, and margarita flight were all fantastic. Our waitress and the owner were both so friendly, and we loved the vibe of the restaurant! If you’re a UCONN student, you’re lucky to be near such a great place. I’ll be keeping Hops 44 in mind for places to stop on the way back from a trip up north too!

My 1st visit and this is now my new favorite secret Lil spot. The smokes wings are delicious and tender. Everything has flavor and the Margaritas were excellent. I love the flight option to try several flavors. Can’t beat that. Family friendly and staff are awesome. Theres local beer on tap, TV’s for the games And they have a Patio with heat lamps. And a private room for events

My only complaint is that they do not use traditional hand held in person menu’s, instead they have bar scans on every table that you must scan to get an online / mobile menu, this may be a challenge any of the older audience will come across.

Amazing! As soon as we walked into this place we felt welcomed. The servers were so pleasant to deal with, they were all very excited to work there and made really good recommendations. The food is really good and OMG the oreo pretzels were phenomenal!!!! The bathrooms were very clean and smelled amazing. I will definitely return and recommend it.

Excellent food! Atmosphere is energetic, a bit loud for conversations if you go at peak times but don’t let that deter you. They have out door seating as well. Staff is friendly and efficient. 100% recommend.

I absolutely love the atmosphere, staff & food at Hops44. Pam, the manager is AMAZING! She’s very personable (like all other staff members) and treats everyone voile family! Haha, if I ever need a group of people to put a smile on my face while dining out, I’d call Hops44. In fact, during my last visit Pam was kind enough to let me try her SCRUMPTIOUS homemade truffles! I’m not sure if they’re a menu item, but they surely should be! Would I recommend? Absolutely, 10/10.
