First time visiting Hopdoddy and overall my wife and I liked it. The food quality was overall good. Everything was cooked well, the staff was friendly and the location was pretty clean for lunch time rush. Our food came out fast.
We ordered
Ahi tuna burger as a salad on crispy brussel sprout leaves 5 of 5
Cadillac waygu burger 4 of 5
Hot honey sweet potato fries 4 of 5
Tres leches shake 2 of 5 (too many big chunks of cookie)
I think for the price they should include a side of fries instead of making you pay al carte for each item. It turns a $15 burger into a $21 dollar burger for that price I would just get the chili’s 3 for me at $10.
However both my wife and I would go back for the ahi tuna salad which has a better precived value. All in all a great place to try but not our regular hangout.

5 star burgers, fries and a decadently tasty shake. Burgers and fries and a shake were all very good. The Classic Farmhouse Deluxe came with Doddy mayo, lettuce, tomato and onion, tillamook cheddar cheese, bacon, a fried egg and crispy onions was amazing….and gone in short order. The Roosevelt burger was just as good, a bison patty with goat cheese, cherry and fig jam, crispy fried onions and arugula…our son had this and it disappeared faster than mine. We shared a large order of chipperbec fries, very good as well. An order of chicken tenders was enjoyed along with an apple juice. I enjoyed an overflowing boozy brown butter vanilla shake with kahlua. We’ll be back for more goodies.

I love burgers, especially burgers with mushrooms in it. Thus, I definitely had to order the Magic Shroom at Hopdoddy. I also got the Parmesan truffle crispy brussel leaves as my “side”.
The Parmesan truffle crispy brussel leaves were crispy and delicious. I wouldn’t share this bowl as a “side” with others! My burger was delicious too! The ingredients were fresh. The patty was thick and cooked to perfection. I loved the goat cheese in my burger. I thought it was a good complement. I tried some of the traditional fries, which I thought was hard than crispy.
The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The staff were very polite and kind. The service was excellent. There were TVs on sports channels.

Decided to finally try it, wished my wife would have come just to sit and enjoy the atmosphere a little. That’s always a tell for us. They have a great selection of burgers. Ahi etc sandwiches, bar, comfortable seating, TV etc. Truffle fries.. I did notice that there was a line manager putting orders together, but from then on it was a little disorganized, people were doing different things at different times, so it was a little confusing on positioning. My order came up and I pretty much had to point out my order so I could go..other than that, the burgers were great..better to eat in house I’m sure but lots of flavor..loved the Buffallo Bill!..worth the visit..3 burgers fries..60 with tip..pricey but it was good.

I was craving burgers and found out there was a location in Stafford so decided to give it a try. I came on a weekday around the evening and there weren’t many people there. There are a lot of sitting from table, booth, and bar. The staff are nice and friendly. I got two burgers which were a classic cheeseburger and a classic burger. They were both well made and tasted delicious though for the price they are relatively small. I also got shareable hand-cut fries which were an easy fav as they nicely seasoned and perfectly fried to a crisp.
Overall, food and vibes were good, I definitely recommend getting some fries but definitely on the pricey side for burgers.

I’m shocked as to why this establishment doesn’t get more attention. Their menu is very good and for the most part, reasonable for the quality you’re getting.
The Cadillac is my personal favorite and it must go with a shake and truffle fries.

I really wanted to like this game lace but it was such a miss. I got the Bacon Jam and small sweet potato fries.
The fries portion was laughable for being 6+ dollars ( as you can see in the picture) but the test was ok. I did live the sauce that came with it.
The burger was oily , sloppy, and tasteless ( not even a hint of salt) and was over all bad. It is way too pricey to not not even taste decent.

Hey H-Town Foodies got another great one for ya. Hopdoddy Burger Bar just landed at The Grid in Stafford. Hopdoddy prides themselves with ethically sourced meats, fresh baked bread and hand cut fries. I opt to go in and camp out at the bar where I was graciously served by Nate. He started off with a great Old fashion and a wonderfully crafted Whisky Sour. The main event, of course, was the burger. My choice was the Double Bacon Jan. This was an outstanding burger, rich in flavor, with the help of the bacon jam. The bacon jam of course had a robust bacon flavor, but added a hint of tang and splash of seasoning salt taste… superb. I elected to add an egg, along with mayo and ketchup. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed this burger. To be honest I’m not a fan of the fries, all though they were fresh, thin, crispy and hot, I personally like steak fries, with crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.
The atmosphere was lively and well decorated, really giving you “night out” feel. The staff were all super friendly and very helpful and hats off again to the amazing service of my man Nate. I give Hopdoddy Burger Bar two thumbs up on my Reco-meter.

Had dinner with my family at Hopdoddy Burger Bar this evening and overall it was a fun experience with a few ups and downs. The restaurant was packed, which gave it a lively energy, and I really liked the decor and vibe inside. It has that modern but casual feel, almost like a mix between a bar and a burger joint. You order at the counter, find your own seat, and the staff will bring the food out to you. The process was smooth and kept things moving even though it was busy.
Our total came to around $100 for the family. We tried a variety of items—burgers, chicken strips, and two different types of fries. The fries were the biggest disappointment of the night. They were thin, not really hot, and a bit overcooked, which was a letdown since fries are usually one of my favorite parts of a burger meal. The chicken strips were okay—on the salty side, but otherwise decent and crispy.
The highlight for me was the spicy burger I ordered. It came out juicy, cooked perfectly, and had a lot of flavor. It was seriously spicy, so much so that I had to pull some jalapeños out, and I usually enjoy heat. What I really liked was that it wasn’t a smash-style burger, so it kept that juiciness and meaty bite that makes a burger satisfying.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, although the kitchen seemed a little disorganized when I looked over. Still, everyone was working hard to keep up with the crowd. Overall, I’d say Hopdoddy is a cool spot with a fun atmosphere and really solid burgers. The fries missed the mark this time, but I’d definitely come back for the burgers alone.

Had the Cadillac Wagyu Burger and Parmesan Truffle Fries. Both were delicious. The burger was a little on the rare side which was fine for me. Some people may want to request how well done they want it. Service was good, the fries came out first and the burgers not long after. One of the servers even opened the door for us on our way out.
