I was so excited to try this place based off of the reviews but I left extremely disappointed. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were flat and tough. The gravy was water (see picture). Super thin and clear and no flavor.

We discovered Hoot’s Breakfast and Lunch Diner on our recent trip to Marco Island . Hoot’s is definitely a hidden gem off the beaten path. We liked everything from the food, decor, atmosphere, and staff. I don’t know how the chef did it, I had the best poached eggs I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the crab cakes Benedict, absolutely delicious, you could really taste the crab and the hashbrowns were cooked perfectly, just the right amount of crunch .

Our new breakfast discovery this year and it’s great. Clean and bright, all of the help is friendly and efficient. The iced coffee is particularly good, but everything was delicious – my omelette, my husband eggs (over medium and cooked perfectly). My only complaint would be that I don’t really care for thick toast and both the rye and wheat were oversized – but that’s not a big complaint really! We will definitely be back next time we are on the island!

Of all the touristy spots we went to on the island, this local diner was the best hidden gem of all. It was recommended to us by a local who worked at the Walgreens down the road. Staff is extremely friendly and the service is quick. Food was excellent and most of all….not super expensive. We were surprised when we got our bill! Haha

We came to Hoot’s for breakfast with our 4 kids. We got a table quickly, service was excellent, menu options were great. Food came out very fast and was delicious! Good price too! Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a great breakfast without an hour wait!

Had a mix pf breakfast and lunch. Chef’s salad with fresh chopped romaine, homemade Bleu cheese and lots of crispy bacon together with the cheese and meats make is great. Bacon skillet, two eggs, bacon and a side of French toast and a BLT rounded out the table. All of it was great at a reasonable price. Definite gem!
