I had never been to a Hooters before, so I decided to check it out since it was conveniently located and I was curious about the hype. The rumor was that they had the best wings—and girls in booty shorts.
It wasn’t busy when I arrived, but it was a Tuesday. I chose to sit at the bar since the tables didn’t offer the view I wanted. I was greeted fairly quickly, asked for a fruity drink recommendation, and went with the suggestion.
I ordered wings with curly fries and treated myself to cheesecake for dessert. The wings were spicier than I expected (could be a me problem), but they were still good, edible with lots of ranch, which is my preference.
The service wasn’t bad, but the men across from me definitely got more attention especially the guy buying shots for a group he’d just met (conversations were easy to overhear).
Overall, it was a solid experience.

So friendly and asked if I needed stuff while chowing down my juicy boneless wings and was patient as I was a little nervous. She even gave me a free cup of water for the beach. This restaurant has the best food! Our server’s name was Desiree. She was exceptional! She checked on us a lot and was very friendly! We had the blue cheese burger, the mushroom Swiss burger, the buffalo chicken sandwich, and the funnel fries!

I enjoy Hooters a lot whenever I want a great meal, mostly because I know what to expect. I was highly disappointed with this location. The food quality has dwindled down tremendously. The menu has changed to compete with the surrounding restaurants, I’m guessing. To me, that was a terrible idea. I feel it should be the same menu and quality as any other Hooters. The shrimp 41 – 50s were smaller and not worth the $13 bucks for . I’ve eaten at this location a few times, but the new changes aren’t good for business. I had to ask for extra sauce, my wings and were greasy and poorly tossed. Wings were overly breaded and dry. The wings looked like Churches chicken, wings.
Shooters is known for great wings and shrimp, but this location is not holding up to the legacy. I won’t be returning.

Service was Beautiful, friendly and top notch. Mahi sandwich was best on the beach as are always the wings. Management was the coolest and made my sons year!!

Stopped by to have a few drinks. Service was good and they had the heaters on in the outdoor seating. It was comfortable even though it was chilly out that day. Good selection of TVs, indoor and outdoor.

Hands down without a doubt the absolute worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. This restaurant specifically. The manager and the waitress spent their whole time flirting with each other to even be of service. The wings were absolutely disgusting and undercooked and were sent back. I can completely see why Hooters is failing all over the country. This is the first and absolute last time I’ll ever set foot in that place. Do better Clearwater hooters staff. Yall are the worst.
