Hooks Catch Seafood in Coral Springs delivered one of the best casual seafood meals we’ve had in a long time. Everything arrived hot and seasoned just right—flavorful without being salty. The team working there is genuinely kind, and we even had the chance to meet the owner’s son, who was just as friendly and welcoming.
The blackened catfish was absolutely perfect, cooked with care and great flavor. The French fries deserve their own mention: crisp, clean, and cooked in their own dedicated oil, which means no contamination and no heavy salt. The chicken was just as impressive—hot, juicy, and full of flavor.
The restaurant is kept clean, including the bathroom, and they offer drink refills, which is always appreciated. Hooks is the kind of place where the food is great and the people make it even better.

Their shrimp are so yummy , seasoned to perfection. That banana pudding is fire too , I was pleasantly surprised as it didn’t look like it would be great , I was wrong ! It’s in house made at this location and it’s very light and delicious. If you like sweet Cole slaw this is the place for you too. I love it sweet so it’s my go to .i watch them actually hand season/flour the shrimp and livers, I knew I was at the right place lol . Decently priced and great atmosphere. I always can’t wait to come back . The staff is so welcoming to me and show love . ❤️

Absolutely outstanding dining experience! The food here is truly the star of the show. Every dish we tried was clearly made with high-quality ingredients, incredible attention to detail, and real care in preparation. I was passing through town and looking for something good to eat when I came across Hook’s Catch. After chatting with the owner, he mentioned their chicken tenders were one of the most slept-on items on the menu. At a place known for seafood, that caught me off guard.
The breaded tenders had an even, well-seasoned coating that stayed crisp from first bite to last. Inside, the chicken was cooked through without drying out. The sauced tenders held their texture surprisingly well — the breading didn’t go soggy — and each sauce had its own character. The BBQ was slightly smoky without being too sweet, Hook Sauce leaned tangy with a bit of spice, buffalo had a clean heat that didn’t overpower, and honey hot struck a balance between sweet and kick.
It’s not often I find tenders this well done, whether plain or sauced. They’re flavorful, consistent, and hold their own against — and in my opinion beat — what I’ve had from places that specialize in chicken. If you’re in town and want something satisfying, these are absolutely worth ordering.

The food was all made fresh. The store was not super busy but they seem to have a lot of carry out. I understand why. It takes about 30 minutes to get your order so I don’t recommend going in before ordering ahead if you are super hungry. The fresh fish was just ok. It basically came apart completely when I tried to pick it up to eat it. The fried shrimp were hard and were not very large. The fries tasted hard too. They dont have house made tarter sauce its in packets. My daughter got buffalo chicken strips and she said they were hard to chew. The price was about 35 dollars with one drink and two meals. The fountain had nothing but water in the coke zero selection.
They didnt include the colelaw either that is pictured with all the meals. If you do order ahead check the bags before leaving because they seem busy enough to miss somethint.
We probably won’t be back. The fish joint is close by and the food tasted twice as good there for the same price and the french fries are made fresher.

Kayla provided amazing customer service at Hooks. She was friendly, patient, and really took the time to help me find exactly what I needed. Her positive attitude made the whole experience enjoyable, and she was very knowledgeable about the products. You can tell she genuinely cares about customers and her work. This was not bad for my first time! I was not super impressed at first glance but the wings were tasty! My kid definitely enjoyed his chicken tenders. I got my to go so when I got home the wings were a little soggy. Next time I will eat there and will try the dry wings. They look very crispy!
