Heard of this place from a coworker and wanted to give it a try, very happy we did! The staff is friendly and informative. We hardly had to wait for our food. And when it arrives it was delicious! You will get messy, but they provide plenty of napkins, gloves, and a sink to wash up. Refills on drinks came at the perfect time! Highly recommend this place for any seafood lover

What a wonderful place! The food is exactly what we were expecting. I had a crab meat roll with crab meat fries. It was awesome! One thing I would suggest them for the tables in the middle is to increase the lights a little. At the table we got, we could not even read the menu, it was like “theater dark”. We just moved to a booth next to the windows and it was a lot better.

This place is SO GOOD. The waitress was a complete sweetheart. I’ve never tried crawfish before. I wasn’t a fan because they taste like dirt to me. However, we got the boil with Cajun seasoning, shrimp, snow crab, mussels, sausage, corn, and potato. Everything was incredible. Lots of flavor and lots of food. Be ready to get messy!

Hook & Reel deserves 10 stars, really! They just perfectly nestled themselves into 1 of my favorite restaurants! Loved everything we ordered, it was all so very tasty!! Make sure to try the deep fried pickles! Ultra-yum!

Normally, we have great service. This time, it was terrible. She brought our appetizers, main course, and dessert all at the same time. Our main course and desserts were cold by the time we got to them. She never came back to check on us or even ask if we wanted refills.

It was a Monday evening and rather quiet, but our birthday dinner party was so enjoyable. The food is great! I had Cajun shrimp linguine and it was saucy and full of flavor! Ambience is nice. Service is not bad. Daily specials are amazing! And the on-the-house birthday dessert was appreciated. All in all, we enjoy dining @ H&R a lot! If you love seafood, this is a great place!
