I came in and ordered a mini boil. The order came out in the wrong sauce, I requested in the right sauce because that is not what I ordered. Manager was rude and had an attitude about doing so. When I brought my order back it was apparent that they had sprayed off the mistake, and replace the sauce with the right one. I know this because the food had water droplets all over it, and my potato I had bit off of was still in the bag. This is absolutely disgusting. I did not want food that was sprayed off with a water hose especially if it’s seafood. If you make a mistake fix it Don’t force me to eat disgusting food and then act like I should be grateful to you for it. I tried to say I would just choose not to eat and the manager was very rude about having to comp my food. This manager is in the wrong line of business.

We have eaten here a few times. My Travel Buddy likes the food much more than I do. The food isn’t “bad” in fact I love the seasoning. I’m just picky when it comes to crab/seafood. I lived on the Pacific coast for several years and had the ability to buy straight off the boats. I’m just a bit spoiled because of those experiences.

We have a large party for my grandsons 20th birthday. We went early and We were told it would be 20 mins….40 mins later we were told it is going to be another 20 to 30 mins…..now it is going to be another 20 to 30 mins.. if you have more that 6 people do not come here. They will not hold tables to sit large groups and a 6 top is the largest table they have….the food here is good but the seating policy leaves alot to be desired. We had yo go to another seafood restaurant…it is now our go to restaurant…We never were seated ..tell us if you cannot seat us.. you made his birthday memorable NOT IN A GOOD WAY.

The food is great, but the employees are not too helpful or the kindest. My brother called 3 hours in advance to make a reservation and was told the restaurant does not take those, which is fine, but my brother told them, “Just know you should prepare yourself for 24 people around 7pm.” When we arrived at the restaurant, we were given a 35-45 minute wait time. I arrived at 7:08 and we did not get seated until 8:25. Also, when we got seated we were trying to make the best out of the situation we were given as far as seating; it was my sister-in-law’s birthday and we were all practically sitting away from each other. To whoever brought our menus out, she slammed them on the table (I guess out of frustration because of us constantly asking the host about when we could be seated). Our waitress that served us was very sweet and I wish I could remember her name (I am very sorry about that). It was my first time being there; I would be back, but maybe during the daytime; might have a nicer crew.

Tonight my boyfriend and I wanted seafood so we stopped at Hook & Reel because we had such a good experience in OKC. We did have a 20 minute wait for a table but that wasn’t bad at all. Our servers name was Mattie and he was absolutely the best! He was very attentive and even gave recommendations! If you go ask for him!! Thank You Mattie!!!
