This was a nice find for seafood. Ordered the calamari (breading was good on it – kind of small size). The catfish basket (fried here are tasty, the catfish was almost non existent – more batter than filet. Batter is that I’d like a Popeyes crispy coating) ratio off. The dungeonous crab legs were good – but other crab legs a bit rubbery. The wing baskets were good. Hook and reel special flavor was good – a bit thick but liked it. I’d come to try the bar – the restaurant setup was nice.

Last night was my first time at the restaurant. Josh, our server was amazing. The food was good for the most part. Everything was going well until I noticed the wallpaper. I asked the manager Jessica, and she said she didn’t know about it. Clearly, someone did because they tried and failed to cover it. I called around 1pm today to speak to the GM Nancy. She was rude and very defensive. She also claimed she didn’t know about it either. But made it a point to say “they are not racist,” and she “knows the owners” “it’s like a caption hook theme from Disney”
I never said she was racist but still I rise.
When I stated one of the servers said it’s been there for a while. She replied, “I’m sorry I didn’t pay attention to every single detail in here. I just know none of my staff put the tape there. It was probably the other management.
I just wanted this to be corrected immediately. I didn’t need the attitude. Apparently, this location has been there for 3 years. And no one has said anything. How?
Nancy said they cut that part out. I assume she meant the noose. I asked her to paint or strip the part with the tree. She said, “She’s waiting for the supplies”

If you’re looking for a good place to get quick seafood this is it. If you’re looking for some of the freshest seafood I would not say this is it. You can drive down the street to Kent island seafood and do it all at home for cheaper . I will say it’s very beautifully decorated And I love that they give you a bib and gloves

General Manager was super friendly and personable. Made myself and my friend feel welcome. Ordered their seafood boils and opted for crabs legs, shrimp and mussels with their signature sauce in a mild variation. The food tasted fresh but I will say that their signature sauce mild didn’t have the kick or flavor I was looking for and asked for spicy. The spicy was much better. The prices were very reasonable. I found out they have one in San Antonio, so I will check that one out. I will come back to this location next time.
