We were looking for a Seafood only restaurant and found this restaurant on Google. This name was not new to us because we were eating at Hook & Reel Orange, CT regularly. But this franchise was far better in decor and big in size. We ordered a Flounder basket, a Shrimp basket and a Scallops boil. Within 10 minutes our order was on the table. Food was excellent and quantity was generous. I couldn’t finish my meal.
Our hostess, Rachel was very nice and friendly. She helped us in deciding the menu.
Strongly recommended if you’re interested in Seafood at a good restaurant.

This was my first time at Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood and I’m already planning my return! Hands down, this is the best seafood boil spot I’ve tried in Rhode Island. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. First impression? Spotless! Everything from the dining area to the ladies’ room, even the table and menus…was squeaky clean.
The menu is packed with well-curated options, and their signature sauce? Next level. It’s thicker, richer, and way more flavorful than what you’ll find at similar spots. The food came out beautifully plated, and you could tell a lot of care went into the presentation. It’s clear that attention to detail is a big deal here.
And let’s not forget the staff our server was kind, thoughtful, and super attentive. The entire experience felt intentional and elevated. Hook & Reel definitely earned a spot on my regular rotation. See you soon!

had the BEST experience thanks to rachel. she was very attentive, friendly, and on top of everything from start to finish. our drinks were never empty, the food came out perfect, and she made the trip well worth it. you can tell she really cares about her tables bc she prioritizes them. ask for rachel, she truly serves!!
