My wife and I ventured out on date night and decided to try this place out. First impression was great. The staff got us to a table immediately. The manager Nick made sure to give us a warm welcome. Our waitress was Bailey. She was very attentive and explained the menu very well. My wife ordered Seafood Cannelloi with a Margarita and I ordered Crab legs. The drink came fast and was delicious. Food came out timely and it was delicious. We even got a brownie Sunday for dessert. Bailey was absolutely amazing as a waitress and it was really cool that Nick walked around and checked on us several times too. 10/10 recommend and we definitely will come back.

Hook Line and Schooner is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant in West Village that we are proud to support. We had the pleasure of having our Valentine’s Dinner on Feb 14th. Although the chef was offering the lobster special, loaded seafood pasta and a lobster/crab boil, there was no pressure to order a pre-fix meal. Instead, by making a reservations, we were able to enjoy a complementary bottle of Wycliffe champagne. The She-Crab soup and broiled mussels were superb, along with the crab cake salad and fresh grilled salmon. Needless to say, we topped it off with the coconut cake. However, the icing on the cake was our sever: JAYA. Although it was extremely busy, JAYA took the time to personalize her service with each customer. PHILLIP the manager pitched in and also took care of our service needs. It was a memorable experience and we will definitely be retuning in the near future.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is consistently delicious, perfectly prepared and fresh. The staff is always attentive, friendly and kind. This is a local spot that my family frequently visits. They meet any and all requests from happy hour, lunch time specials and even catering orders. I highly recommend you visit this fantastic restaurant

Stopped by for the 1st time for lunch. Was not expecting such good food being in a strip. The staff were excellent. They only had Manhattan Chowder and l’m a New England style, but I must say it was excellent and I ordered a second cup. I wished the menu would state the source of the oysters and fish I.e sustainably. Bugbear excessive use of single-use plastic straws and source cups which trash the Gulf Coast and we end up consuming at restaurants.

Googled “best seafood in Atlanta”, and this location popped up. My husband and I decided to give it a try. We’re definitely glad we did. We were greeted by a nice hostess and seated immediately (reservation was at 5pm, but we got there early and we were seated upon arrival). We had a couple drinks from the bar, a few appetizers (stuffed lobster & crab and bang-bang shrimp), and a lovely dinner (fried shrimp & scallops and jerk chicken). The prices are reasonable and our food wait time was less than 15 minutes. We’ll definitely be returning for another future date night.

Have been wanting to try HL&S for quite some time. Finally had the chance to do so. Normally I’m concerned when the wait staff looks exceptionally young. But Brett was phenomenal!! Bright spot of the evening!!Cocktails were great and the half-priced wine bottle night was an added bonus. The food was just OK. Not sure I’d say it’s “the best seafood in Atlanta” but I’d still like to return and try the lobster roll.

One of my favorite seafood restaurants near the city. Food is excellent! Every time I come here, they immediately sit us down. The customer service is great. Not much of a long wait for food either depending on what you order, everything comes out hot and fresh. I recommend the Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Shrimp Scampi, HLS Oysters, and the Salmon.

Wanted some mussels found this place. Had that and fried ravioli and some sangria The mussels were pretty good too but what stood out the most was the customer service. Nicole was amazing. Furthermore, I witnessed other waiters smiling, checking on me, taking my plates as I emptied them. Team effort here and all smiles from all the staff!!!! It feels good in here. Feels local, neighborhood friendly and warm. That is enough for me to come back. Thank you HL&S! Best wishes : )

Minus the food, this place is cool. The service was wonderful. Atmosphere the same..the food however…atleast MY food. Wasn’t all that whatsoever lol. I ordered the salmon piccata. (I believe that’s what it was) it was a 5/10. I’m a chef so anytime I eat out, I critique ‍♀️ just my opinion.
