Had the Gyro burger, cheese sticks, and mac and cheese. The Gyro burger and cheese sticks were fantastic. The mac n cheese could be a bit better, but isn’t bad at all. Tried my friends catfish nuggets which were also very good. So thankful for their late hours. Really came through when our late night dinner plans were falling through.

Hook’s sides are really, I do not eat fish or any meats. Mostly everything is fried, Mushrooms, Zucchini and Okra my go to.
But!! Their restrooms are 100% completely nasty and I mean disgusting: feces all over toilet with urine, sink isn’t clean and completely out of paper towels. Their urinal doesn’t work and yet filled with urine. Floors are really dirty. I generally go through drive-thru I needed to use restroom and ordered inside and was shock how badly the inside was kept.
People today commonly order through DoorDash and other services like it not realizing lack of sanitary conditions, this restaurant is in. Worse problem after I told dude working front counter he had zero urgency. So it’s obvious this must be cultural to them. I’ll never return.
Please clean your restrooms and your store.

The owner is as amazing as his food. I had the catfish with his own blend of hot and spicy lemon powder. Highly recommended. The service is friendly, a family atmosphere, and your food will be made when you order it. I also had the lemon cake. Fantastic!

This is quite possibly the best fried chicken I’ve tried in Ohio. It’s definitely the best value. We ordered a 10pc chicken strip at a cost of $11 and received enough food for 3 people to eat! The quality of the chicken was excellent… fresh chicken breast that was juicy, crisp and not overly seasoned.
We ordered the 3pc whiting and a cheeseburger lunch for our son. The pieces of whiting were also large, fresh and lightly breaded. No smelly grease and only a few tiny bones in the flesh.
When we saw how much food there was we just laughed and knew there would be enough for leftovers. Definitely coming back next time we are in town

I’m telling yall, if your breading had a bit more seasoning in it you would have some of the best fried chicken around. Always had great service and the portion sizes are awesome.
