Egg and cheese on rosemary bagel was absolutely incredible. The bagel texture is unmatched. It’s light is fluffy outside crispy, and the rosemary gives it such a bright herbal finish. Egg was cooked perfectly. The other Bagel is called the calibre, It’s hot and spicy and amazing. Definitely give this place a visit! (And their bagels are all natural!)

Shop was pretty empty for a Saturday morning. I asked the girl behind the counter for 6 loose bagels to go. They shorted me and gave me 5, but horrible service. Before giving me the bagels, the girl behind the counter ends up helping a few people after me, even getting their bagels grab and go. Maybe 10 minutes go by, I ask hey, is there something wrong with my order? I asked for 6 loose bagels, none toasted, just to go. Girl behind the counter walks away. Someone else entirely had to help me and apologize for their dog water service. Would not be returning, especially after messing up a simple order. Wish I could say it tasted better, 2/10 overall

Grandpas bagels is by far the best bagels around. We grab bagels every couple of weeks and they are absolutely amazing. No matter which bagel you get, you won’t be disappointed. I’m a sucker for the jalapeño cheddar. Just ridiculous.

Tried grandpas today, the bagels were so good!! Tried the French toast and the blueberry bagel and they both were amazing! My friend got a bacon and egg sandwich and he said it was fire. My friend has a dairy allergy and they were very accommodating in making his sandwich. The store was very clean and all of the employees were very welcoming. Definitely coming back for more!!

I absolutely love coming here and getting breakfast for my family. The bagels are fresh and do not have all the harsh additives that other places use. My absolute favorite sandwich is the sausage egg and cheese with avocado on the hot honey bagel. Highly recommend.

5 stars across the board! Delicious array and selection of bagels located at this gem off Route 79 in Marlboro. The bagels are crafted with unbleached and unbromated flour. Grandpa’s offers tasty bagels such as the classics (plain, everything, egg) and Za’atar seasoned bagel and the Hot Calabrian Honey bagel to name a few. They also feature a mouth watering truffle cream cheese. Also available are vegan cream cheese and vegan vegetable cream cheese. Highly recommend Grandpas bagels.

There are a lot of people saying the bagels are expensive on here. I think it’s the breakfast sandwiches that are way too expensive. They’re charging $1 for each vegetable add-on to a sandwich – which is more expensive that Manhattan! A slice of cheese, tomato, lettuce and onion will bring your base egg+bagel from $5 to $9! Then avocado is $2.50 for a slice. I’m sorry but maybe they’re aiming too high for a basic breakfast meal.
That being said, their bagels are very tasty (tried the jalapeno cheddar) but they’re more along the lines of Einstein Bros bagels than regular New York bagels (at Bagel World). If you want a ‘crunch’ in your bagel – this is the place to come.

a little different but very good, I was recently introduced to a rosemary, garlic and O/O bagel. WOW it was like eating a good focaccia bread in bagel form. I was all about it. the bagels had great taste all around

Grandpa’s Bagels never disappoints, but their rosemary bagel deserves its own spotlight . Add a spread of butter, and it becomes unbelievably delicious and absolutely addictive. If you’re anywhere near Marlboro, this is a must-try!

The service at this place is terrible. It’s literally run by a bunch of kids who have no idea they’re doing. It took 10 minutes to get two non toasted bagels with cream cheese. They kept trying to toast them first kept making the same mistake over and over. Really not that hard to cut a bagel and put cream cheese on it. If you value your time I highly recommend not going to this place . The bagels were just OK so it’s not even worth the wait.
