Loved the food, drinks, and views of this Rooftop bar. Stop by to relax during the day or at night to see live music and an atmosphere that you can’t help but smile in. The bartenders were phenomenal and made some fancy looking drinks while we ordered our beers and long island ice tea! The Flatbread pizzas are delicious!

One of the best views of Blue Ridge is on the 5th floor of the Hampton Inn at the Hook and Eye. Great food, resonably priced and super friendly service. Weather permitting be sure to eat outside. We stayed at the hotel for several days and enjoyed all our evening meals there. Our favorite was a desert of warm donut bites with whipped cream. Irresistible. Be sure to ask for Teresa.

Scott was our server and was super helpful! He was very fast and gave good drink & food recommendations and offered a sample of the house wine to taste. We also got the Squach cocktail which was very yummy. Nachos were also good.

Chicken tacos good but like a kiddie serving 3 small tacos for $15 & the Machos r $17 for small basket – sliders are good (3) Chips do not come with salsa just chips don’t bother with cowboy caviar it is not cowboy caviar it is a can of corn with a few black beans – the worst I have ever had because it is not the dish it says it is! They had live music was good ! We were tired just checked in hotel – great perk for Hampton inn ! Rooftop B’ar is awesome spot great view !

We stopped in for drinks and had a pretty good time. The view is great of the train and the downtown area and if mother nature hadn’t “rained on our parade” we would have enjoyed the patio. I couldn’t tell you how good the food is but the staff was confident that it was pretty good, lol!

The ambiance is what you go there for- not the food and not the drinks. Drinks were subpar and the food items are supremely limited. A couple things I did like were my salad and the ambiance. The restaurant is on top of the Hampton Inn. They did have live music as well.

Yet another downtown blue ridge restaurant hoping to survive on tourism and the ease of its location rather than quality. The menu is small, which makes me optimistic that the kitchen is focusing on being able to execute it well. This was not the case. My friend and I had stopped in to have a few drinks and some appetizers, which the menu is very much lacking in. We opted for the pork dumplings and an order or tater tots. The dumplings were run of the mill frozen pot stickers and one in our order was just an empty wanton, way over priced at $14 for 6. The tater tots were under cooked and mushy. The drinks weren’t anything special. The only reason I’d return is to drink a beer on the patio. If you’re looking for food or cocktails, steer clear.

We had a great time at Hook & Eye! Our server Keyla was so hospitable and she had great recommendations. Our food and drinks were amazing! Definitely a place to stop in Blue Ridge.
