I’m probably gonna get some hate for this. I know it’s thanksgiving and your staff wants to be at home but what about the truck drivers you serve. We would also like to to have a hot meal and possibly a beer or two on thanksgiving but apparently you closed at 3 pm. When most of us were still working. The parking lot is filling up rapidly and no hot food because your closed even the restaurants in Canada are open on their thanksgiving!

The bartender was also the server. Took about 5 minutes to get a menu. We only ordered water to drink. Took another 5-7 minutes to order food. Were told they were out of steak bites and the sirloin. Kinda odd when you have signs posted about the meat being locally sourced from GK Meats….and you can buy the meats next door at the market. Bartender|server said not to order the Philly cheese steak . We ordered the artichoke dip which was beyond salty and that took another 10 minutes. Dinner was two burgers which we were told could only be cooked to well done…really?? Which took another 10-15 minutes as the cook brought our dip and said; I’m going to cook your burgers now. Sides were onion rings that were burnt and mushy. A well done hamburger is like biting into tasteless leather. This is our second time here. Thought we’d give it another try. Next time we’ll eat at the truck stop which is definitely worth all ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️!!!! Clean restrooms, big showers, heated towel bars and friendly helpful staff. 75 gallons gets you a free shower. Use you’re AMBEST card not you’re Hat Six Travel.

Stopped in for a bite to eat, and a beer. Maybe 12 people in there.
I ordered the BLT, but they were out of lettuce. The waitress/ bartender/ cook (all same person) told me I probably shouldn’t order anything off the grill, because she was there by herself, and it might take a long time. So I ordered beef tips. The beef tips sucked. They were tough and shoe leather, and they weren’t very hot. Very disappointed. It was pretty noisy in there, it was obvious, a few of those in there had plenty to drink. So the only thing I guess I can say about my
experience, the two beers I had were good and cold. Other than that I wasn’t impressed.

This is a bar attached to the Hat Six travel center. Upon first walking in, I noticed it’s fairly quiet but the decor is nice and they have some TVs going. We sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The bartender got my second drink wrong, but it was still good so no complaints. Food was pretty awesome as well and we were treated well. Will definitely return again next time we’re in the area.

I arrived at 4 p.m. to this stablishment, recommended by the hotel across the street. Ordered a Long Island drink and a BBQ burger. Food was great, and the drink (Long Island) made by the bartender at the time, was made the right way (I happen to know how the drink is to be made as it is my fav choice)

I ordered a second one 1 hr later as I was finishing my food and my first Long Island drink. She went off the clock, and the woman (picture of her attached) took over the bar. I finished my food around 1900 (7 p.m.) and by 2100 (9 p.m.) I decided to ask for a 3rd and final drink before walking back to the hotel room.

This new bartender (if you want to call her that) didn’t know II was paying attention to how she was making the drink I had ordered and poured two of 6 ingredients (2 of 6) in a glass full of ice and a ton of soda, A FREAKING TON of soda (as if I had asked for a watered down drink or iced tea) and told me it was $12.00 when a Long Island drink is only $9.00 ( per their menu) SERIOUSLY!!!!!!?

I MAY HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF DRINKS 4.5 hrs earlier but it didn’t mean I was drunk. I politely told her….. that was NOT a Long Island drink nor how it is made.

She proceeded to tell me in a condescending tone “this is how I make it, either take it or don’t, I don’t know how the other person made it for you and if you do take it, it’s $12.00, and if you do want it, I will pour it down.

I can’t and WILL NOT pay over priced water down drink. I DON’T need it nor DO I HAVE TO TAKE IT the way you feel is good enough to you for a customer who just spent almost $40.00 at your stablishment instead of haven gone across the street to Sonic.

You may be good and nice to locals, but certainly NOT to the rest. You may arbitrarily decide how you want to treat and serve drinks the way you feel like doing it, but it is certainly NOT the right way.

Customers do notice, even when you think customers are too stupid to know what you are serving if NOT exactly what they have asked or ordered.

You SHOULDN’T be allowed to serve customers at the bar if you don’t know what you are doing or if you DON’T feel like doing your job the right way.

To the new customers: If you are new to this place to eat and order a drink…..if this lady is the one serving your drink…..you may want to pay attention to how she is making your drinks and NOT be overcharged for a water down drink. You have the right to refuse it if NOT done the right way.
