My mom and I were heading to an event. Stopped at Hong Thai. My mom had soup- Thai version of Pho – noodle soup . I had one of their authentic specialty-I chose beef. Comes on a bed of lettuce and a side of sticky rice. Nice flavors, I love herbs. Had hot tea- Oolong. Also had egg rolls- nice and crispy – wrapper is rice paper which is my preferred wrap over a wheat wonton wrap that you find in most Vietnamese restaurants these days due to the shortage/in crease price for rice papers. Server was professional , very nice. Food is tasty and affordable prices. I asked for her favorites off the menus since this is my first time . Will be back!

We moved from the cities out to Maple Grove and have been searching for our staple Thai restaurant and we’ve finally found it. We got drunken noodles and egg rolls and they were both phenomenal. My only complaint is there wasn’t enough for leftovers.

The food is ok Thai- but what was really uncomfortable was his political views and forward sharing. He was offensive and not kind at all- it made me uncomfortable and I wouldn’t support a business that is not kind to people.

The first time my fiance and I attempted to try this place it was closed even though the Open sign was on and it was suring posted business hours. The 2nd time, yesterday, I called ahead to make sure they were open and was asked by the staff what time it was before he answered my question hours before closing. We arrived and were told to sit down ourselves. The gluten sensitive items were labeled but some even were questionable based off the description. I pointed it out to the staff and he told me it wasnt a big deal. The food tastes ok but I am paying for it today. I have all of my glutenized symptoms. My fiance called to talk to the staff about my being sick from being contaminated by gluten and was yelled at. Needless to say we will never be returning. Got sick and horrible service when it’s even open.
