Cozy eatery serving Chinese favorites, dim sum & an array of teas amid pleasant decor.

I really loved the Pan Fried Shanghai Buns and the Steamed Egg Custard Buns. The sesame rolls were very yummy. A favorite at the table was the turnip cake (savory) and the eggplant and the mushroom roll. Everything we got was delicious! We also really loved the house tea and the chrysanthemum tea. We had aong work meeting there and they accommodated us well. It was a great place for us to lunch and discuss without feeling hurried. We kept ordering the yummiest food. It was great service and a good atmosphere.

My friends and I came here for lunch (4 adults and a baby). Prices aren’t bad for a dim sum place. Service wasn’t terrible either. Although I don’t think our server was the friendliest, she was very straightforward and I commend her for working all the tables by herself. I’ve had better dim sum in the past, but I’d still recommend this place as the food was still quality and service was good.

This was such a great meal. We love dim sum and they are hard to find. They had some of the best, like the most perfect sticky rice in lotus leaf. All the dim sum was perfect. The crispy pork special for the weekend was so delicious. Always a favorite. We tried the black sesame dumpling and loved it. It was one of my new favorites. The house tea is a must. Service was excellent. Everyone was great. Excellent prices and quality. This is a must visit place.

Honestly so dissapointed with the food and the price we had to pay for how little we recieved. We got chicken chow mein (had no flavor and was dry), general Tao chicken (Honestly was the best thing but still not great), Mongolian beef (bland and the portion was absolutely ridiculous for a dinner entree). The white rice was even dry and shrimp pot stickers were just ok. On top of it all I’ve had the worst stomach issues literally right after eating the food going into today. I love giving credit where credit is due but this was just not ok. I’m Hispanic and can literally whip up better chinese food than this and will be more often after that experience. Wish we had more local chinese food that meets the expectations of their customers.

I’ve been all over the world including Hong Kong and other parts of China. THIS PLACE IS AUTHENTIC. I have trouble digesting food that is too greasy and this place gives me comfort. My go to Chinese Restaurant in SLC.

I’ve seen several reviews that the service is horrible, well they are wrong! The service is great! The waitress/hostess had a several minute conversation with two young children and was very engaging with them as they told her all about their day, school and likes in Disney! Anyways, more to the food…. Delicious! We ordered the kung poa chicken, bbq pork (app), chicken chow mein, general tso, and the bbq pork fried rice.. it was just me and the husband but we had to keep trying things because it was so good! Winners were the generals and bbq pork fried rice! No refills on soda tho. We will definitely be back to try other menu items. The atmosphere is wonderful! Not that big of a place, maybe 10 tables. Super clean! Didn’t even see dust on the bottom of the table

A friend introduced me to Dum Sum dining today at Hong Kong Tea House.
It was great. The dishes were varied and fresh. He careful of hot temperatures nestled in your rolls and cakes!
I love tea, and the oolong (woo long, I believe) was fantastic. A hot and flavorful beverage we poured throughout our experience.
We tried seven or eight different selections – and while chicken feet may seem unpalatable – everything was top notch.
Hong Kong Tea House provided my first Dim Sum experience, and it was grand. I recommend this establishment to lovers of the meal, and enthusiasts looking for a new experience.

The best place for dim sum. Family style and child friendly. We have been going to this restaurant for two decades. The food has maintained its flavor, taste, and quality. The quantity is good. It’s a good place to meet friends, bring out of state family and enjoy the wonderful food. The staff are amazing, always smiling and welcoming. If you are looking to support women owned restaurant owners, then this is your perfect choice. Every time I go there I forget to take pictures as we just start eating. Today, I managed to get some pictures before my family gobbled up everything.

We decided to try this dim sum restaurant for lunch. Everything from the delicately steamed dumplings to the flavorful beef chow fun was truly delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall dining experience – it is a cute little place that exudes a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
However, I would like to highlight that there is limited parking available near the restaurant. The only available option for parking is on the street, which may pose a challenge during peak hours.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this dim sum restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a delightful culinary experience. The delicious food coupled with the charming ambiance makes it a worthwhile visit despite the parking limitations.

Took my elderly mother with mobility issues for dim sum, lunch. We both loved it. Food quality was great. Service was super friendly. The staff helped holding doors open for us without asking was a nice touch.
We got there before opening and we’re able to secure a street parking spot in front. We planned for that because of well documented parking issues. If you don’t suffer from mobility issues the Trax station is right at the front door.
