I brought my girls here. we paid just under $16 for the buffet each. The service was not bad, and the establishment was clean. The food and the price for it were bad. The selection was not good, but the food tasted terrible. It seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. The fried wonton was disgusting and sweet. The meats tasted off (except for the plain breaded chicken). The fried rice and egg roll were okay. Nothing was worth having seconds. To make matters worse, my girl grabbed some cookies and cream ice cream and found hair in it. She didn’t eat it. She then got a scoop of birthday cake ice cream, and as she ate it, she found a FINGER NAIL! We were not even in there for 15 minutes before we decided to leave. I will never bring anyone here. I can’t believe I paid for this. I politely and discreetly let the staff know about the ice cream. I was not offered a refund even after telling them. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

For $15.50 a person I would expect better food… I took my family here because it was just too hot to cook at home. And just about every thing we had grabbed off the buffet was either excessively greasy or sweet if not both weirdly the least sweet and greasy thing I has eaten was the donut. I took the one plate of food and had decided that was enough for me. The white rice wasn’t even safe from what I can only assume was a bag of sugar…. and as I write this review I’m currently standing in the front yard of my home dry heaving wishing this vile food would leave my body.

Order food for pick up. Placed a very large order, and for the most part, everything was there, but I think they forgot a part of my sweet and sour chicken. It honestly didn’t matter much because there was so much food (portion sizes are very generous) we didn’t eat it all. The food and service were excellent! We will definitely be back.

Average at best. Had the shrimp w/lobster sauce and big shrimp but sauce was not the best. Usually this dish is always a must for me at chinese restaurants but I will pass if there is a next time. Egg rolls were tasteless and food was expensive for wife and I.

Best Chinese food in the area!!! (That includes Duluth/Superior) Their fried rice is my absolute favorite along with their Oolong tea. Their buffet is affordable and fantastic!
Also love their decor as well. 🙂
Have been coming here since I was a little kid, many memories with my Grandma here. Now I can bring my own son here and he absolutely loves it now too!

Edit: want to add. We came here again about a month after my initial review. She remembered us, what we ordered specifically, that my son doesn’t use the dumpling sauce and that we like them to go.
You can tell they really care and appreciate their customers!!!

The staff is friendly. I used to eat here pre-Covid. It used to be okay.

Now, no.

I just spent $21 for a Coke and the worst buffet, the worst dinner, I have ever had in my life.

At 7pm. It’s not like I was there 10 minutes before close.

Carbs, gooey carbs, slivers of meat breaded to death, salt, gravy, yeuch. Imagine the worst $1 microwavable Chinese food you can imagine, put out on a warming table to dry out.

Buffet, Coke, and credit card fee was $21. I only stopped there because Gordy’s had a very long line. I will never, ever go back.

First time eating here tonight. I have always heard amazing things. Everybody was right! Phenomenal food, huge portions for the money! Probably the best fried rice I have ever had. I highly reccomend! Support local small businesses, you’ll rarely be disappointed. Had a chance to speak with a wonderful young woman there, if you are looking for a place to work with friendly coworkers, they are hiring! THANKS!

When we first got there, the buffet food was cold, which is why it’s getting 4*. But once they put the fresh food out, it was FYRE. Seems like they hand bread their food, and the sauces are really good. Will definitely be going back! Thanks for a great meal!

When the best part of a Chinese buffet is the fortune cookie at the end, you know that they have a problem. Initial atmosphere of the restaurant feels cheap, with fading and torn vinyl seats. Service was to be expected at a Chinese buffet. But the food was an utter disappointment. You’d expect that getting charged nearly $10 you’d at least get something decent. I think it would have been worth a buffet ticket just to empty all the food into a trash bin.
The fortune cookie was good, though. Only slightly stale, but even still the best part of the meal.
Never coming here again.
