I used to come here often, but the last two times I ordered my usual dish — chicken and shrimp with broccoli — it was extremely bland and lacking flavor. The sauce tasted mostly like oil with a basic base and no real seasoning. I’ve had this same meal at many different restaurants, including Hong Kong Restaurant, and unfortunately it seems like the quality here has declined. I even asked for extra sauce, but it was just more of the same flavorless sauce.

Ordered to go. As soon as I touched the bag, I could feel the grease. The outside of the bag was slippery, so you can imagine what the contents were. Food was not good. Nice try, but I will not be back.

I got orange chicken and white rice & while they do fill the container with contents, I’m not sure I would call it food… I certainly wouldn’t call the “meat” chicken… or edible. The so called chicken was just a hollowed out, chewy & gum like shell. No matter how long I chewed per bite, and it was a while, it would never break up
At one point, I questioned whether I should be putting it in my body at all…
I don’t know what they disguise as orange chicken but I’ll never be back to find out.

PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT EAT HERE!
Employees will exit restroom without washing hands, touch money then food without hand washing in between, leave chicken and food in baskets suspended above fryer until customer orders it and dunk it back into hot oil to reheat.
Do NOT store food according to safe food handling practices as recommended by USDA or local health department.
It seems this establishment has lost their respect of safe food handling procedures, sanitation, and overall wellbeing of their customers. (Food poisoning several times from here).
With a sanitation grading of 94, it may seem ok but it’s not, it’s our fault (the customers) for not demanding higher standards from this eating establishment.
If we do not give them our business based upon their lack of care for their craft, then it opens the door (no pun intended) for another business to occupy this dirty building and provide healthier, safer and fresher food.
With all of the remodeling in uptown Kannapolis transpiring, this business will not last until the new reveal.

From a kannapolis resident beware eating here Some of the worst food I’ve ever tasted me and my wife each only took a couple bites before spitting it out and waisting almost $35 dollars the restaurant was dirty with trash all over the floors.we are currently hoping we don’t get food poisoning! This food was disgusting & disappointing, I went bc a friends said it was good 50$ down the drain everything was overly greasy the chicken was cold the crab ragoon was nasty & greasy everything tasted old and like it was just sitting in Grease the lo main was so nasty … is it even Chinese ppl cooking ?? Absolutely do not get the chicken Mei fun. The chicken smells and looks rancid. The rice noodles are the most Bland I have ever had. The crab Rangoon are good. Otherwise, just don’t do it.
