The EXACT type of Chinese food I’ve been searching for in this area, reminds me so much of the style my family used to order for takeout when I was younger.

We ordered the Vegetable Lo Mein (and asked for tofu in it which they graciously added), Steamed Dumplings, and Sesame Chicken Combo (which comes with Pork Fried Rice and an Egg Roll). Everything was under $30 and super tasty, highly recommend this place!

The best Chinese food in the area. Hot & fresh with good quality ingredients, I’ve been coming here for years since I worked up the road. Nice owners too, and the lunch specials are a great deal; $8 for fried rice, sesame chicken, and a choice of drink or soup. [pictured below ]

We decided to try something different tonight and tried here. Soooo wish we didn’t. It was literally the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. I got the “beef tenderloin with scallion. It’s not tenderloin (confirmed by the restaurant when I called to complain) and there were literally maybe 6 little thin slices of beef. Also, my shrimp toast was burnt. Back to China Palace we go.

We ordered a few dishes from Hong Kong recently but went back after we noticed our chicken fried rice looked unusual. It seemed like it was missing parts of the dish and the chicken seemed undercooked. I wasn’t sure if it was the right dish. They said yes, that’s chicken fried rice, and they explained that it does not come with the “extras” of peas, carrots, egg etc. and this version only has the bean sprouts and onion. We would have needed to ask for the others to be added.
The website doesn’t list any extras to add, nor does it describe what is in the dish so maybe that’s on us too.
I didn’t feel great about the quality of the food or the response after I expressed my concern about the cook of the chicken. I ultimately threw away the food.

Since my childhood, I’ve been going to Hong Kong Restaurant and my go to here is the vegetable singapore noodles. It’s a savory hot dish cooked with curry seasoning and delicious vegetables. (The broccoli is fantastic) It’s by far my favorite dish. When it’s drenched with a bit of hot sauce, it gives your taste buds a kick. Since I’ve been going here, about 10 years, the staff here has been the same and very courteous. The service here has always been great and I will keep coming for more.

Decided to switch it up from our usual place (big mistake). The container of sauce we received tasted like plastic and freezer burnt plus color was off. Food was oily and bland. Rice was hard. Meat was fatty. This was the first time in a while things just had to go in the trash. Really disappointing experience.
