Used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Today’s order is so awful. Nothing tastes right. I’m not even sure I got fried rice it looks like white rice mixed with huge pieces of unflovorful chicken a small amount of veggies and soy sauce if it has any at all. The mandarin chicken is mushy. And the chicken with cashews tastes bland no flavor. Won’t be back. Too bad.

If I could give this restaurant zero stars on service I would. I normally take food to go and. about 50% of the time the food is very good when I eat in I would give it five stars. However, today I ordered food to be picked up and when I called, I asked for an extra container of the hot mustard and an extra container of the sweet-and-sour sauce, I specifically asked if there was an extra charge those two items. The lady on the phone said no charge no charge no no charge for extra. When I got there, I specifically asked her if they had added two mustard and two of the sweet-and-sour in my order , instead of looking in my order, she pulled to containers of each out from underneath the counter and told me that would be an extra charge. I normally would not have gotten upset, but I have a really bad cold and I love their house wonton soup. She finally looked in the box and said oh there’s two of each in there and I’m like cool thank you and I left when I got home. I’m taking the and the bag with my food in it out of the box only to find that the container of sweet-and-sour has spilled all over the bottom of the box. I
wish that they were part of DoorDash or Postmates !!! This is the best wonton soup that I have found in Placerville since I moved here two years ago, but I guess I’m just gonna have to think twice about ordering food to go

Great food great service the general Taos chicken was amazing it was not soggy it was crunchy and not too spicy there fried rice is great The tea is wonderful and the service is outstanding I will definitely return the place was clean and not too crowded if you’re in the area I absolutely suggest trying to place you will not be disappointed!

This is not a bad place, but the food is inconsistent. They have a seafood dish listed as hot that I usually like and have ordered many times. It varies from hardly spicy at all to so hot I can’t enjoy it. I ordered an alternative non-spicy dish the last time that was inedible. Stir-fry is supposed to be a little crunchy. This was uncooked, barely hot. The broccoli raw, the shrimp at best half cooked, and the entire dish had an unpleasant smell. I’m looking around for someplace more reliable but haven’t completely given up on this one.

We eat here every couple of months. The to-go meal we got tonight was disgusting. Some kind of twice overcooked cooked cabbage mixed into pork chow fun. Vegetable deluxe was overcooked. Something in one of those dishes tasted rotted. Can’t recommend. Lost us on this one.

We came in at 8:22 PM, 40 minutes before closing. Having worked in restaurants myself, I’m fully aware that it’s the kitchen that closes at the closing time. The sign even said they were open. However, upon walking inside, we were IMMEDIATELY turned away. Staff was clearly just too lazy to close on time, so prefer turning away customers almost an hour before closing. Ridiculous.
