I wanted Chinese for dinner and thought I’d give Hong Kong House another try and I am glad I did. For fast Chinese, they did a great job preparing my food.
My order for the evening was; Beef & Broccoli with Fried Rice. I also had, Crab Rangoon (4) and an Egg Roll. The egg roll was super crisp and filling was packed tight. I loved the crunch when I bit into it. The crab rangoon pockets were filled with the creamy sauce and fried to a soft golden color.
The Beef and Broccoli was a nice change from my typical order of General Tso. The beef and broccoli was tossed in a rich beef sauce and also had sliced carrots. Both veggies were prepared to the point where they were soft, but still had a good snap. The beef was super, super tender. There was so much sauce, I scooped some it over the fried rice for extra flavor.
The staff is super perky. They all said, hello and welcome when I entered the restaurant. Even the cooks, greeted me. I like how you can see into the kitchen from the ordering counter, it is super clean and that makes me feel good.
I pass two other Chinese restaurants on my way to Hong Kong House, but it is worth the drive. They have an app for ordering and rewards and I’ll be downloading it, very soon.

Called a hour before closing food tasted really fresh. I tried the Chicken St. Paul and WOW!!! That’s a beautiful sandwich really, it was so good. I loved the pork egg rolls as well as the Crab Rangoon. The rice is good without adding soy sauce or sweet and sour which I love. Great place to give a try.

They had the best garlic chicken with fried rice. They’re hot and sour soup is still delicious. It’s been a while since I’ve been there so I’m so glad I tried it again. I will be going there more frequently. It’s my favorite.

Shrimp egg foo young gravy was watery the fried rice was cooked to long and it tastes like the food was cooked in bacon grease. Couldn’t eat it at all. Please do better!

Very cute little space. Staff was friendly, food delicious, and the cooks were making magic happen. Got our order to go this time, everything was hot and fresh, still steaming when I got it all home. Will definitely be going back again

Got takeout recently since I heard they re-opened. You can order online so that’s really convenient. The food was super tasty (love that deep color on the fried rice) and good portions. Downsides: very long wait. The online order said 1 hour until pickup, which is pretty long, but then we waited at the restaurant for an additional half an hour to get the food. When we got home, we were missing a few things so that was a bummer. Overall though good food. I will wait a few weeks and try again to see if the wait is better, after all they did just re-open. I’m happy they’re back!

The food is decent, except rice was a little dry this last time. I tried their egg rolls for the first time, and they were really good better than their crab ragoon, which is my usual go-to. And I think they should dress up the dine in area a little to make it more desirable to sit in and eat. So many chinese restaurants sadly don’t even have a dine in area at all, they do but it could use some decorative something or rather to lighten it up and make it look like less of bore of an experience to sit down and eat their.

Lady was very nice, no problems ordering in the restaurant. Ordered hot braised chicken, it was not spicy and the skin was just falling off. Pork fried rice was bland but cooked perfectly! Overall not bad, I have had worse. May or may not go back.

After 3 very large orders of slimy chicken with breading falling off and half cooked half raw veggies, the customer service tonight was the nail in the coffin. The young lady on the phone was so polite and apologetic that one of my family members entire meal was missing in my delivery order. However, the owners/other staff wanted to argue that I missed it in the bag, they packed it, etc. After 30 minutes of the young lady trying to reason with them and the older employees yelling at her, they offered a free item next time or reluctant refund for it. I chose refund. Now to see if I actually receive it.
