If you like the Korean Hot Pot experience, I think you’ll like this place.
I’ve been to two other similar restaurants in Grand rapids and this one was my favorite.
This one has a great atmosphere. There have been about 3 restaurants here over the last 5 years.
2 of us got BBQ and 2 got the Hot Pot. At a similar restaurant in town, they didn’t allow that. I think they were afraid of people taking advantage of how this works. So everyone kinda had to order the same thing- at the other place
Rebecca was our waitress and she was great!
It was my wife’s birthday and there was a robot bus boy sort of thing that sang to her.
I know. Sounds weird. Oh, and it was also sort of cat themed?
Anyway, it was great all around. If you like Hot pot give it a shot.

Wow! Just wow! Hong BBQ & Hot Pot blows Kpot out of the water. Immediately when you walk in you’re greeted with hospitality and great atmosphere. On top of that, the decor sets the mood for the hot pot experience. Aiden was a lovely waiter who provided wonderful service. The broth is packed with flavor and they offer a larger variety of food options. They also have house crafted tea that create a fun feel. I recommend this place. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

What an amazing and fantastic experience! The restaurant is gorgeous and clean! The food cooking experience is one of a kind, and all the flavors and choices were FANTASTIC! Will definitely be coming back. Great value for money, and would be a ton of fun with a big party.

CARLI is the BEST server…then there’s the food and atmosphere. I highly recommend this Hong BBQ & Hot Pot. Make sure that you change your hot pot out between your cooking times! Food is fresh and there is a buffet with many opportunities to make any dish your way!

We came here for lunch. Had to wait about 10 minutes which is fine. This is our first hot pot place that we went to in the US. It’s definitely different from what we have back in Asia but selection is pretty good. There are some suggestions that I would recommend, like probably revised the menu pictures pictures made it look like that the portion was big so our server had to really explained that it’s different with what they served. Broth selections are good. I would also recommend to add more wait staff. There was only 1 server for the whole restaurant and I feel bad for him running around here and there. He did a great though

Lovely interior! It’s bright, lively and very clean. We opted for bbq only and the pork/beef belly melted in my mouth. There is a bar for snacks and sauces that is cleaned around the clock (which I appreciated). Our server Sean was wonderful and very attentive. We didn’t have a long wait for the meat to come to our table. Also, the boba gives you options for sugar %. We had a D2 which was good but I will be trying other options as well. I had done a 50% sugar and it was good but I wonder if it would have been better at 75%. Overall, I’m excited to have this restaurant in Grandville. Look forward to coming back.

Hong BBQ & hot pot was an absolutely fantastic experience. We are experienced hot pot people so we felt right at home. The selection of meats is one of the best in town! The staff is incredibly friendly and the owner came over to great us and check up multiple times. She was such a pleasure to talk to. It definitely feels like family here! I cant wait to come back!

Great little place with big heart. The staff are very nice and accommodating, the food is good and reasonably priced, the location is immaculate and immersive. In the middle of Michigan! My dad’s first Hot Pot experience, and we’re so glad it was this positive.

This place is amazing! The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is incredible, and the service somehow topped all of that. Rebecca was our server (who I believe is a manager too) and gave the best service ever. She helped us through the menu and was very nice. I even spilled my mojito and she brought over another one right away! 10/10 hands down recommend this place if you have the budget, will definitely come back 😀

This is a phenomenal, must see and enjoy experience. The service was great. They were nice, helpful and informative, and they were all organized! It was great. I gave the food 3 stars, not because it wasn’t good, but because it wasn’t the quality I expected. There are a lot of choices, but it seems there are more choices for hot pot than bbq, however, it is all you can eat for 2 hours! I will be bringing family and friend back to this wonderful new addition to the area.
