We tried Hong BBQ and hot pot. The buffet selection was quite limited, and desserts are only served until around 8:30 PM with no refills afterward. The fruit was basic — my kid ate a few slices of orange, and after waiting more than 30 minutes, no refill was offered, only grapes and a little pineapple left.

The dipping sauces were too salty, so you might want to adjust. Our orders also had issues — some dishes were missing or came very slowly. For example, we ordered 5 portions of meat but only received 4, and extra orders were met with warnings about leftover charges, which felt unfriendly.

We tried both BBQ and hot pot. Avoid the Tom Yum hot pot — the flavor was very disappointing, even our friends couldn’t finish it. The pork bone hot pot was the easiest to eat. Meat, veggies, and other items were okay but not impressive.

Price was $32 per person, plus $5.99 for combining BBQ and hot pot. The restaurant was busy and there’s no app to reserve tables, so waiting times were long. Overall, food quality didn’t match the price, service was slow, and we probably won’t return

Best hot pot in town! I recommend the Chinese herbal broth, many vegetarian options! Seafood didn’t seem as fresh personally and I don’t eat meat so I can’t speak on that. As a vegetarian I can tell you I’m very happy with the selection of veggies & tofu. Sauce counter had a lot too— good service overall.

We had a family lunch here New Year’s Day and we were glad we did. The food was fresh and well marinated. We picked the combination of hot pot and BBQ. For the broth, we had the original, herbal and Tom Yum. They were all flavorful. The Tom Yum was spicy but not too much. The server was very attentive and the orders came out very quickly. There were a wide variety of dipping and seasoning sauces to choose from. The beef Bulgogi was tender and juicy. The kimchi was really good. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed the meal.

Mariah, this hot pot experience was absolutely AMAZING! From the first bite to the last sip of broth, everything was bursting with flavor. The freshness of the ingredients, the perfect seasoning, and the way everything blended together made it unforgettable.

The broth was rich and comforting, the meats were tender, the veggies were fresh and crisp, and every dip in that sauce just elevated it to another level. You can tell real care and love went into preparing this meal.

Thank you for creating such a flavorful, cozy, and fun dining experience. Hot pot done RIGHT!

Hearing many locals rave about Hong BBQ and Hot Pot, my friends from out of town and I decided to try it.

After a 2 hour drive, we realized it is quite overhyped. My friend and I ordered tom yum and were very disappointed with the underwhelming taste. The service did not disappoint though. Our waitress was always checking in on us and was very informative about the menu.

Another complaint I have was that the veggies had little flies on them.

I was really disappointed with our experience here today. While the restaurant has high ratings and the staff was actually very friendly, the equipment at our table simply didn’t work. Even with the grill set to P6 (the maximum setting), it never got hot enough to sear the meat. Instead of a proper Korean BBQ char, our meat ended up ‘boiling’ on the plate.

The staff tried to help by changing the grill plate twice, but since the heating element wasn’t working, it didn’t fix anything. We even requested to move to another table, but we were told the setting was ‘normal’ and correct. We have been to many other Korean BBQ restaurants and have never had a problem like this; a grill at max temperature should definitely be searing the meat. For the price you pay, you expect the equipment to function properly so you can actually enjoy the meal.

Very dissapointing considering the amount of stars and reviews it has on this app. They give you a table only if all participants are present and the sidewalk is not wheelchair friendly at all. It specifies on the menu that there is a max time of 2h to stay and eat plus you’re charged 13$ if you don’t finish all your food (but you can reorder as much as you like). On the menu there are the specified times for cooking hotpot plus it’s an all you can eat. The metal spoon can heat up quickly which has never happened at other hot pot restaurants I went so I couldn’t use the spoon for a while. There are many sauces to choose from and fruits and vegetables but some appetisers can be spicy and it may not be specified. Other than that the waiters are patient enough to explain everything. The bubble tea options are okay ish but I would’ve preferred if there was matcha. The fruit was not in season (watermelon) and didn’t taste great. The peanut butter is way too sweet for asian style restaurant and the soy sauce was horrible. Also the music was way too loud to talk to other people at the table.

This was my first bbq / hot pot experience and it was absolutely amazing! Our waitress Jillian was so nice and helpful when it came to explaining the menu. We really liked that you could pick from a menu as opposed to buffet style which makes it much easier to eat and enjoy what you actually want. The ambiance of the restaurant itself was very calming with authentic decor and friendly staff all around. Will definitely be coming here again and recommend everyone else come too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
