Really enjoyed our meal and time at the restaurant. The upstairs bar wasn’t open while I was there, but I did go check it out. Once they work their opening kinks out, I’m sure I will give it 5 stars in every category. Potential to be my new favorite hangout.

Opening weekend at Honeysuckle was great! We went twice! Despite the rain they made it work. I expected that things wouldn’t go perfectly since it’s a new restaurant the first weekend ever open, but the staff really handled it well. The bar staff didn’t miss a beat and no one seemed overwhelmed. Our server was so very sweet and handled our split bill with ease. And the best part— the food was excellent! Nothing came out cold like I’ve experienced at other “soft openings” for other restaurants. The smash burger was delicious, as was the pork chop. And all of our apps were a hit! We are so excited to welcome them to the neighborhood and look forward to our next visit

We made a reservation for 5:45 PM. We got here on time and they said that there was a 45 minute wait. I understand that the place just opened up and they are trying to work out the kinks, but if you’re going to make it “reservation only” and then open it up to the public last minute, you should atleast honor the reservation slots! We’ll definitely try again, the place is beautiful!

The opening of the Honeysuckle was everything we thought it would be and More! We had a party of 16 and the staff worked our table like magic as they were spot on with our drinks,and appetizers!
Not to mention the food everthing from fish and shrimp,Steaks , Chicken fried steak, to wings and nothing but praises on how tasty it was!
The owners Ryan and Leslie, were there ensuring each customer a high level of service and quality and making sure the Honeysuckle was going to meet everyone’s high expectations . Congratulations to them and there staff as they made there soft opening a complete success . The atmosphere, the outside patios and music were extraordinary.

It took 15 minutes to be noticed, food came out cold. Our waitress had nothing to take our order with , she had to keep hunting a kiosk down. Food was horrible. I had shrimp and catfish. My husband had pork chops, loved the sweet potatoes but were cold, the pork chop had no flavor the green beans were very oily and no flavor. The shrimp tasted freezer burned, it was just horrible. Catfish , well let’s just say I had better at chicken express. The atmosphere was great but not a place we will be going back to again. We did leave a 20% tip cause at least she tried.

Stopped by Honeysuckle on FM 306 today right before they opened (highly recommend doing that to beat the Sunday rush). First impression—this place has one of the best views around. The upstairs open-air bar overlooks the Devil’s Backbone, and it’s hard to beat.
Food overall was strong. I had the Chicken Fried Steak—hand battered, good crust, tender meat. Sides (green beans and mashed potatoes) came out cold, and the gravy was just okay, but I’d still order it again. My wife got the smash burger and loved it—great flavor, fresh toppings, and solid fries.
Fried green tomatoes were the standout—10/10. Perfect batter and seasoning.
Drinks were solid. Bloody Mary was simple but good, and the Honey Drop was a hit.
Service was great for a place that’s only been open a couple weeks—friendly, attentive, and Trevor did a great job taking care of us.
Atmosphere is where they really shine. The upstairs deck and outdoor area are perfect, especially for families. We’ll definitely be back with the grandkids.
Bottom line: Great start for a new spot. A few small kinks to work out, but absolutely worth checking out—just give them a little grace while they get dialed in.

We were a party of 5. Didnt know where to go. The sign says wait to be seated. Then we found the hostess to see if there was seating and he said “ya, you seat yourself “… ok. They were out of half their food. After 3 of us ordered wings they brought 1 of our orders out and said they didn’t have wings for the other 2 people (which were the smallest wings I’ve ever seen) We had to waive the waitress down 3 times and still didn’t get our drinks after 20+ minutes. They brought our food out 1 plate at a time. After 40 minutes we went ahead and canceled the 2 orders of chicken tenders and a baked potato and the 2 drinks we never received. Nice design of the building. Service is ridiculous. If the waitress would have came and checked in saying let me check on your food and drinks… maybe it would be different. Maybe if she would have sent a manager over once we canceled the order.. Maybe I’d feel different. But the odds of us coming back are slim to none sadly. Food is way over priced.
