Today is a gray, dreary day—perfect for a bowl of hot soup. I placed a to-go order consisting of a club sandwich for me, a chicken salad sandwich on croissant for my mother, and two bowls of potato soup. Every bite was delicious, and the potato soup really hit the spot. Usually, I am not in Kosciusko at lunchtime but fortunately today I was and was able to eat at The Honey Place! I will definitely be back!

Homemade Chicken Noodle soup was amazzzzing!!! Croissant Turkey sandwich was delicious and hugh, could have shared it. Milk shake was delicious. Very friendly, atmosphere was great. Found it on Google!!! So glad we did.

I was just passing through town for work and found this place online. Honestly, I do not usually go for sandwich shops since I am not a fan of cold sandwiches in general, so my expectations were low. With such high ratings I decided to give it a try.
I ordered The Boss BLT with pasta salad and it was amazing. Hands down the best BLT I have ever had. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding and the honey mustard on the sandwich really took it to another level. I was almost sad when I finished it because it was that good. The pasta salad was also fresh and delicious.
The atmosphere is inviting and warm with that small town charm yet I never once felt like an outsider. Every team member I interacted with was friendly, patient, and genuinely kind. They are busy but absolutely worth the wait in line. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures. I wasn’t planning on leaving a review as I usually don’t take the time to do so. But for this experience, I had to!
This place is truly a gem and will be my regular spot whenever I am in town.

Not only was the food great, the service and atmosphere is so compelling that you want to go back everyday. I ordered a grilled turkey sandwich with bacon and cheddar cheese and it was exceptional.

Disappointing. Prices for a smallish sandwich are high and don’t come with a side – not even a handful of chips. But you can buy a small bag of chips for $2.00. That’s ridiculously expensive for a small bag of chips. Had a bowl of soup of the day – potato. Watery and lacking flavor. Was totally expecting thick, yummy, creamy goodness with a bit of cheese on top. Definitely not what we got. But, portion size on soup was a good. Toast sticks accompanied the soup. Interesting concept but could have been a bit crispier. When we left I asked my companion what they thought of Honey’s Place. The response was, “not much.”
I think this place has potential and a few changes could really make it better. For example, serve sandwiches with a handful of chips and offer other sides for an upcharge. Consider offering a cup of soup and a half sandwich option. I suspect you’ll sell more soup! Oh, and the house garlicky mayo?? How about having the order taker remind customers, “our sandwiches are dressed with our house garlicky mayo, sound good?” Yes, that was on the board menu, but I didn’t catch and didn’t really care for it.
Decor is rustic. Got that. But chairs and table needed screws tightened. Wobbly.
One sandwich, two soups, one bag of chips, and two teas, 15% tip = $30 Kinda steep.
Bottom line: Disappointing. Really wanted it to be better.
