Excellent spot to sit outside with some food and beers. We had two dogs with us so this service set up was great outside at the picnic tables. Highly recommend doing a double patty with your cheeseburger! We will definitely be back.

If it wasn’t evident by the revolving door of people that passed by as I enjoyed my meal, I’d say this place was a popular spot.
With that said, the atmosphere is nice and even though it was pretty busy and not that soon after they opened, we still only waited maybe 10-15 minutes for our food which is nice.
As far as the food, I have tried many burgers through my travels and am comfortable saying that this was immediately one of the best burgers I’ve had anywhere period. Juicy and flavorful are all I can say otherwise. The fries are a perfect crisp, and the milkshake was great as well.
If you are in the area at Stratton or passing by this place is a must.

The fries are even better than any fast food chain! My husband and I got the late riser sandwich which was amazing!!! We also tried honey pie for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! Very sweet but so glad we tried it. Only wish that we could have ate inside as it was a really cold day.

LOVE their Honey pie, it’s in the name, give it a go! It’s sweet but not overly sweet (maybe for some) but it’s uniquely delicious! Way out of my way but it makes for a good motorcycle ride, that’s how I discovered it in the first place. The food overall is fantastic, I believe I had their chicken sandwich as well with their fries, all spectacular in my opinion. Plenty of parking and a shaded seating area in the front. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, at least try the pie!

Came across this gem driving through Southern Vermont. Something about this place drew me in. The crowd, the fact that it was clearly an old gas station, still with its large pump canopy or it’s cool vibe with a colorful art mural on the side of the building, it was all of that. It’s the food that keeps me coming back. Not a fine restaurant and not quite fast food, but something in between. I’d say Vermonts country version of Shake Shake. You place your order at the window, they bring it out and call your name. I really enjoyed the OG Burger which comes with two thin patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions and a spicy special sauce. I added fresh cooked bacon for $1. All this together really works. The Fried Chicken Sandwich served with lettuce, tomato, pickled onion on a bed of cabbage topped with their green goddess sauce was really good. They use local farm raised chicken, but it’s not a cutlet, it’s ground into a patty with a crispy breaded outside. I chose to add their spicy special sauce to it as well. Buns were very good too. Their Fries are shoestring type and are cooked crispy to perfection, however a bit too salty. They also offer soft serve and a full menu of Shakes made from their own custard recipe that are thick and delicious, although on my visit for this rating, they had no ice cream to make any. Disappointing for sure. As the name would imply, they offer homemade Honeypie, haven’t tried it yet, but I hear it’s sweet and delicious. They offer many other items including a line of handmade sausage with ingredients sourced locally and interesting salads too. Beer, wine, coolers, homemade lemonades, (the maple lemonade was surprisingly good) as well as a full line of bottled sodas are available too. Currently take out and outside table dining only. Overall a great spot with a large following, serving comfort food with awesome fresh ingredients, all made fresh to order.

Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Fresh and yummy served on a grilled potato roll. A nice change of pace from the standard bun. I had the O.G. and my husband had the Bring It. Either one would make you very happy. Oh, and the shoestring fries were pretty awesome, too.

The restaurant is clean and the service was excellent. We sat in the car and enjoyed our burgers (delish) and sampled a couple other menu items. The fries were hot and fresh and the burgers were closer to what I have gotten at a “gourmet” burger restaurant than a road side stand. I was not a fan of the pickled onion, but other than that it was great. It is in the perfect location for a quick, post ski meal.

A little pricey, but the food is totally worth it! Only offering take out right now (as of Oct 2021). Some outdoor seating at picnic tables available. I got the Vietnamese sausage and it was amazing!! My husband loved his lamb burger. The straw fries were delicious! Get a slice of honeypie for dessert, you won’t be disappointed!! My friend loved the coffee milkshake she got – they use coffee from the local roaster across the street. If we’re ever back in the area I will for sure stop here

Made an order to pick up using their online app through their webpage. Food was delicious. Loved the Vietnamese Salad. It was unexpected, and very refreshing. Also had the chicken sandwich as it has the green goddess dressing which is always lovely.
