The service was decent. We had lunch here and it was basically a buffet style service with a series of different southern staples, such as mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, meatloaf, chicken tenders and other items. The quality of the food was decent (somewhat home made) but the cost was a bit high for what you got. Desserts are also priced differently. The chocolate cake was pretty great. Overall I had a good meal but I probably wouldn’t come back since the prices are higher than I like to pay for this quality of food.

I had such a great time at this café. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with just the right music and plenty of comfortable seating. My cappuccino was spot-on, and the croissant was buttery and flaky. The team were friendly and efficient throughout. I fully recommend this place and will return soon

Honey From the Rock is literally one of Augusta’s best kept secrets. The food is always well seasoned, taste amazing and fills you to the core. The sad part about this little secret is that it is only open Mon-Fri from 11am to 2pm, but if you can catch them open you will not regret your experience.

Good place to eat in Augusta. Always grab two desserts…one for now and one for later!

Food is really great. I just wish they open back up instead of to go. That’s my only complaint

I’ve been here a handful of times (would definitely be more, but unfortunately they’re not open on the weekends or after lunch hours) and the food has consistently been extremely delicious! The chicken fingers are the best I’ve ever had: the breading has a delicious butter/honey flavor- crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! I crave their macaroni and cheese. Okra and tomatoes are also delicious. The fried green tomatoes are a little thin and flavorless, but that’s probably the only thing I don’t recommend getting. Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. The woman greeting people at the door is such a sweetheart. Love this place! My only complaint is they aren’t open on Saturdays!

I have passed by this place tons of times and, due to the short and weekday only hours had never been able to stop in. On a whim, I decided, since I had the time to go ahead and have a whirl. I am not prone to believe strangers when they say a restaurant is the best because a) their taste buds are off or b) it’s a little overblown.

Well, I am proud to report that this restaurant is one of the better preparer of fried chicken in the area. I was chasing every last crumb of the batter to savor. Since it was a splurge, I got the small portion plate to save money. Thinking it wouldn’t fill me up, I was wrong. And I could have made a meal out of the broccoli casserole alone. The fried green tomatoes were okay, but the jalapeno cornbread muffins were seasoned with just the right touch of spicy. And every employee welcomed me and made a big deal out of it being my first time. It’s nice to get service from people you feel like genuinely care.

Fresh. Hot. Flavorful. Good variety. Good price for two pieces fried chicken , two sides, sweet tea, roll or cornbread. Very helpful and attentive staff. Somewhat difficult to find using GPS. It is along side the Christian book store- facing Washington. Parking is limited. Worth going out of your way if passing through Augusta. Sweet potato casserole is more dessert than side dish.
