I’ve been coming here for a year and the food is great with good large sized portions. However there is a standard of quality missing, sometimes the peri peri fries are amazing and sometimes the fries are dry and old. The flavors are definitely there but do better!!

They raise their prices a bit, but I regularly ordered their Spring Dosa to go, and for the price, it is exceptional! There are many vegetables come on cheese, and the spice level is perfect. It is almost a double portion for the price of one portion, and is the best dosa in the area. .

outstanding service and amazing food. We ordered chef special paratha and a mixed veggie sandwich. They both were very yummy. Chef was very accommodating and we appreciated the attention to detail and good customer service food is priced reasonably with decent size portion. Highly recommend this place.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered veg pulav, but what I received was basically just plain rice with almost no vegetables or flavor. It looked nothing like a proper pulav and definitely did not justify the price charged. It felt like I paid for a full dish and got the cheapest version possible.
This was a complete waste of money. Quality and portion were both poor. If you are charging customers premium prices, at least make sure the food matches what’s on the menu.
The restaurant seriously needs to focus on food quality, authenticity, and value for money. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on this experience.

Went for lunch buffet. The food they had was really good but it seemed like a small offering of dishes. Maybe 10 in total. Maybe this is the fat American in me but I was hoping for just a few more.
Restaurant was very clean and staff were friendly and extremely attentive.

I’m usually quite skeptical about indian restaurants. Honest in Waltham was a great experience.
Dahi Puri was amazing – slightly overpriced but fine (9.99)
The masala dosa was really well made, crispy and the masala inside was very very good. Didn’t care for the sambar, but I also don’t like sambar.
The punjabi thali, my wife, got a channa masala instead of the mixed vegetable subji, she really liked it.
Finally, the gobi manchurian was likely the “weakest” dish of the 4, still very good, had a great spice to it.
I would certainly come back here again. The place was decently well kept. We also came here at like 630 on a Sunday, so not their busiest time.

It’s an acceptable taste around Boston area (IYKYK) but nowhere near what it should taste like. Won’t go out of my way to get it, which I did this time. Overall below average tasting food, service is very fast (may be that’s why?).

The food was fresh, flavorful, and true to its authentic roots. Each dish was well-prepared with great attention to taste and presentation. The staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel welcome throughout my visit. The atmosphere was clean, inviting, and perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. Overall, Honest Restaurant lives up to its name — offering honest, high-quality food with genuine service. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying dining experience.
