The vibe here is super chill and really nice. The menu is very compact and curated — we were two people and ended up ordering everything on it. We were completely full by the end, but somehow still managed to finish it all.

Every single dish was absolutely incredible — packed with flavor and beautifully executed. Honestly, no notes. The only dish that felt slightly unnecessary to us was the burrata, but that’s more of a personal preference since burrata can feel a bit basic. That said, they did elevate it in a creative way.

The service was excellent. The pacing of the food was perfect, and the staff was kind, attentive, and very helpful with recommendations. Each dish was explained clearly and concisely as it arrived, which we appreciated.

It was easily one of our best meals during our three weeks traveling across Mexico. We went for lunch, and it definitely feels more like a lunch spot than a dinner destination — but 100% recommend if you’re in Mexico City.

Just wow, this was the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a while. I ordered the full menu for 1 person, which essentially means they give you half sizes of the menu (which is typically meant to be shared) for half the price but oh my god it was still so much food and every plate they kept bringing was better than the last. Ordered some vermouth’s as well which were all good. Would recommend to everyone to try this place out.

We came here yesterday with our toddler and everything was amazing. The atmosphere, the service and the food were incredible. They were also super friendly to our child and gave her extra bread and pineapple which we really appreciated. Without a doubt, you should come here!

WOW! So impressed with my experience at Esquina Común – every dish was full of flavour, beautifully designed and executed and the service was perfect! I had the most stunning and tastiest shrimp crudo I have ever had – the dish looked like art! The tostada was another standout and the burrata with its focaccia was also fantastic. Special mention to the mandarin agua fresca – my waitress brought me a taster and I was sold! I enjoyed every single dish and the dessert was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. I will also say – incredible incredible value for a Michelin star restaurant! The menu is designed to be shared, however I went solo and could get a half portion of everything except for the tostada (good thing as it was too delicious!) £70 including tips – can’t be beat! What a way to go for my last meal in CDMX! Til next time ! Muchísimas gracias!

Our favorite meal of our trip was Esquina Comun, it was an amazing and delicious experience on an outdoor patio. We had it for lunch, which was perfect because the dining area is outside on a rooftop surrounded by treetops. The prices were great, service was exceptional, and every dish we received felt like a work of art. We would 100% go back if we ever visit Mexico City again.

This was our first Michelin Star restaurant in CDMX. as you can see from the photos, it’s a beautiful restaurant with a lovely outdoor seating surrounded by trees and flowers. The wait staff was so accommodating and kind.

Every dish was delicious, especially the dessert and the very first sticky rice appetizer. My only low rating comes from how the wagyu was prepared for the entree. The sauce and the marinade were all way too sweet and there was nothing acidic or fresh in the dish to cut the taste. I could barely taste the great quality meat, which was a shame because it was cooked perfectly.

Other than that one complaint, overall a great experience. I personally think the chef should go back to the 2024 menu that got that the one star in the first place.

Very impressed by the dishes here. Only 6 items on the menu + dessert. Dishes were very balanced and the techniques shown was excellent. Flavours were strong but not overwhelming, everything was very cohesive. Friendly and attentive service and a relexed atmosphere.

(I’m just gonna riff here, stream of consciousness, and qualify right off the bat that I’m not really a “foam and powder” restaurant kind of guy, so that you take what I am about to say with a “grain of salt”).

Sometimes a food dish will photograph beautifully, truly artistically, but there is no big flavor payoff, (just an assembly of a bunch of a little of this, a little of that, with a beautiful presentation). Other times there is a huge flavor payoff but you really don’t need to photograph it; example, Indian curries or stews.

Put lots of things together, well, you’re gonna come away with pretty pictures. But what will it taste like? In the case of this place, the flavor profiles, for me, there were not any truly OMG moments. Just came away with respect and admiration for how lovely everything looked.

At the core, maybe think “Asian” but with some core Mexican flavors with the meats at the heart of several dishes (barbacoa for example) ingredients of the new world, I think? (I live in a town with hundreds of Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants, with their centuries of play with food flavors, and that is probably why I was underwhelmed, as opposed to the excitement these dishes might generate for someone in CDMX, not used to that).

The dishes here are very cuisine minceur. Fortunately, no one ingredient overwhelms, but at the same time, no dish’s flavor profile is really memorable.

The OMG moments come from the ambience, the setting, the truly wonderful staff. But it is never a good thing when a person’s thoughts while trying each dish bring up the thought of “emperor’s new clothes”, as one overhears the oohs and aahs from other tables.

The night I was there, they missed the target, respect to how sticky rice should be cooked and taste. (I kept thinking that I’d rather just have a perfect cha gio or banh xeo than this dish in front of me); (after I had photographed it in all of its prettiness). (Or even a quality spam musubi, with a really good sushi rice).

Ditto the shrimp crudo. Great photograph but I kept thinking of the portions of ceviche in the Coyoacan market.

Note: I know and acknowledge that the ingredients here are of the finest quality and are sourced from excellent sources. It is slightly unfair to look at the crudo here like a ceviche in Coyoacan. Quality versus quantity.

It’s a great restaurant. The ambience can’t be beat. The staff are wonderful. The presentation is as good as it gets.

Wow, wow, wow. Spectacular dining experience; I cannot wait to come back. We ordered the whole menu for two (about $150 USD with beers), and every dish was better than the last. The rooftop has a gorgeous treetop atmosphere. This was a top 10 restaurant for me.

Amazing Michelin-star experience in Condesa! Every dish was creative and delicious — especially the Wagyu steak with tortilla and the shrimp crudo. Great value for the quality, lovely natural atmosphere upstairs, and friendly service. Highly recommend!
