Nice Indian vegetarian restaurant close to Akshardham Temple in New Jersey. The Bahubali Sandwich was excellent and definitely the highlight. The Dabbang Dosa didn’t quite match the quality I’ve had at other Honest restaurants, and the vegetarian biryani was average. The place is spacious and can handle big groups, which is convenient. Overall, a good option for vegetarian food in the area.

Excellent service with really good food. Highly recommend the Dabang dosa and the Pani puri. The grilled Bombay Sandwich was also excellent.

Our first time to dine in the Indian restaurant. The foods are so delicious and the service is great. The waiter Sam is very friendly and patiently introduced the dishes to us. It’s only 4 mins away from the BAPS Akshardham Temple, highly recommended to try.

We ordered Samosa chat with chole along with 2 other dishes to go. The Samosa chat with chole had gone bad. We could smell it and tell it had gone bad and the folks at the restaurant still packed it and gave it. How many other folks got stale food only the restaurant folks know. Not going to order ever again. Would have preferred to give 0 stars but we cannot give 0 stars.

Hands down one of the best Bombay street food. We enjoyed Dahi puri, Sev Puri, Bombay sandwich, Chinese food, hotnsour soup. Very quick service as well. Food tastes amazing. Pani Puri is average compared to rest of the food. Highly recommend this place. Be prepared to wait and it’s worth the wait.

Vegetarian only restaurant with good options. Sizzlers are worth the price. Charged 18% Gratuity as we were a group of 9.

Very good service and good food. Party of six people visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. They were not busy so the food came out rather quickly. Pav bhaji was slightly spicy, but anyone who eats spicy food would have thought its not very spicy. Mysore and Maysore dhosa’s ordered were also decent. Best of all was the Rose Falooda – Highly recommend it.

Absolutely delicious food that truly brings the authentic taste of Gujarat/India to life! Every dish was full of rich, traditional flavors and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy genuine Gujarati taste with top-notch service. Will definitely visit again!

We stopped in after a detour off the Turnpike to look for gas. The smell of Indian food wafting towards the gas pumps drew us to it. The place is set up a bit like an IHop in design, diner style, and has less appeal that a cozy neighborhood place, but what it lacks in ambiance it makes up for in taste and service. We had the Honest pav with cashews, raisins and fresh red onion, and the lentil pancakes with onion & potato, along with samosa chaat and dal makani. Everything was delicious, spiced to our request (which is mild-medium), and served quickly. We will definitely go back.
The only thing that made it a bit hard for us was not recognizing the dishes. We are used to seeing saag and kormas on the menu and didn’t recognize the dishes labeled pav and dosa. Some pictures on the menu were helpful, but not closely aligned with the word descriptions, so you had to hunt around for what your plate might look like. We are not Indian, as you can probably tell.
